This idyllic cabin is set on a five acre property overlooking the Ganges Inlet. With blackberry bushes and fruit trees available for picking you are able to enjoy bounty from the property when in season.
A spacious deck runs along the front of the cabin providing the ideal location for outdoor meals no matter the weather thanks to the roof with several skylights.
Another deck overhangs the slope at the front of the property providing the perfect place for a coffee, if one of the multiple hammocks available are all taken.
If you enjoy outdoor cooking you can enjoy cooking over an open fire, or a gas BBQ.
Huge arbutus trees with their green and rust bark, firs and cedars populate the property, providing shade on a hot summers day.
This is primarily a summer cabin, though it can also be a cosy get-away in the winter - with a small wood stove and base board heaters. There is a long unpaved drive-way - tricky to negotiate without a 4 wheel drive if it should snow. The water has also been known to freeze if temperatures plummet well below zero for an extended period. Mostly our winter weather is quite mild - but there are some risks in more severe weather.
This cabin is not suitable for frail elderly, those intolerant of the odd visiting spider, or those who do not have sense of adventure and enjoyment of the outdoors.
Price seen on the site listing is in US dollars. The quote sent will be in Canadian dollars. Please note there is an additional cleaning fee per visit.
