About Kathy Sirek
We built this home in 2010. It is on a slab with in floor heat. Mostly wood interior walls and ceiling with custom Hickory cabinets. Our son lived here for three years and since then has moved. This is a special place to us and we want to share with you. If you enjoy quiet settings, this place is for you. You can travel 10 miles north or south to Cumberland or Shell Lake/Spooner area. The view all year around is beautiful. Green trees in the spring/summer and in the fall the colors are unbelievable.

The cabin was very clean and everything appeared to be new and well-built. Location was great as it was less than a mile of the main road, but a very quiet and private setting. Kathy responded quickly to a few questions we had. The lake is small, but big enough for a little kayaking and has an active beaver dam. We really enjoyed our stay, everything we needed for a comfortable experience!
Beautiful cabin in the woods!
Very clean, quiet setting, beautiful cabin. Would definitely come back!
Just what we needed!
We spent 5 nights at this very comfortable cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is spotless and well cared for. The weather was very warm at the beginning of our stay so we were glad to have the air conditioning to keep the cabin cool. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals when we wanted to. We loved the deck and sat out there a lot with our coffee in the morning or with a cocktail in the evening. We also enjoyed the fire pit a couple of nights. The large screen TV was nice for when we wanted to watch something. We enjoyed day trips to the towns nearby; Cumberland, Rice Lake, Shell Lake and Spooner. It was ok to be without internet for awhile but we also had no phone signal and that was a little concerning, but we really had no issues anyway. Overall this place was hard to leave. We will be reminiscing about this vacation for a long time.
Great modern cabin on a beautiful pond
Nice location and a good base for exploring the Indianhead region. Cabin had everything we could have needed (except maybe WiFi?). Says pet friendly but I’m glad we didn’t bring our dog as the pet rules seem a bit restrictive. We had a great experience!
Great place, great location
Enjoyed our stay at the Barronett cabin. Comfortable, clean, well-built cabin in a very convenient location. Will likely be back next year.
I truly enjoyed staying at this home
