Home from home. Clean and tidy. Would recommend.
Very homely place
We had a wonderful 8 weeks staying at the property and would do again without hesitation.
Is so handy to everything if you have a car, co-op, tavern, 2 tescos, longton shops and market an if you want to go to Hanley not too far either. Our main reason was it was close to folk we wanted to visit and the Quick Quick Slow Ballroom in Cresswell. We enjoyed travelling to the small villages around the area, so quaint.
The new bathroom upstairs was fantastic, thank you. The convenience of a toilet downstairs was great if you didn't feel like climbing the stairs and a days walking. The house was warm and inviting, cute stuffed toys on chairs in the second lounge a wonderful touch. The pantry had everything you could want if cooking at home which we did often, small separate fridge and freezer which we found more than adequate for our stay. Washing/dryer machine was great and to be able to hang outside is bonus.
If you needed to get in touch with the owners they responded very quickly, great to deal with.
Hoping another opportunity arises to visit the UK and the house is available to use.
A very homely and welcoming house. AAA+++
Thank you so much for your lovely comments - you are a special couple who we would welcome back at any time. Take care and best wishes - Rob & Louise
Spacious, clean and tidy house that has everything you need for a relaxing few days.
This was our second time stopping at Sunset View. The house has a refurbished upstairs bathroom and a new downstairs toilet. These have been done to a very high standard. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Would definitely return again.
Lovely place to stay.
Had a lovely stay. House in a good location for shops and eating out. Nice and cosy place to relax at night after a busy day. Shower room was modern and very nicely decorated.
1/2hr drive to Alton towers which is the reason we were staying.
Property was very clean, lovely and warm and homely, decor a bit dated but nothing offputting
Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Local pub and Co-op was very close and easy to get to.
House very comfortable, quiet and relaxing
Decent sized house in a quiet place. The house was very clean, especially the bedding & towels. It seems as if it is in the process of being up dated, & if the bathroom (great shower) & downstairs toilet is anything to go by, then it will be great. Will definitely stay there again, hopefully later this year as we go to visit friends and family.
Located in the heart of England the amount of attractions within short driving distance of the property are too numerous to list but include Alton Towers, Lichfield Cathedral, Chatsworth House etc (Google ‘Staffordshire Attractions’ to see what I mean!) and not far from Cheshire, Derbyshire and The Peak District.
Close by you will find Trentham Gardens, Monkey Forest, along with Gladstone Pottery Museum and other places associated with the potteries industrial heritage.
You will also find attractions like , Bridgemere Garden World, Cotebrook Shirehorse Centre, Ironbridge, and Bakewell (home of the famous tart) all near by.
We are sure that when you have stayed once you will want to return again and again.
Easily Accessible from the M6 Motorway.
