Lovely Little Doe Lodge offers a quiet mountain setting in every season. Inside enjoy WIFI, cable TV, a well-equipped kitchen and multiple TV's. Outside it is a very quick ride to Canaan Valley, White Grass or Timberline and offers easy access to Dolly Sods, Spruce Island Lake and all of our Tucker County treasures. Great ski vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented because we needed plenty of space for family ski trip. Normally, with children and grandchildren we have 12. This time only 4, so had plenty of space. The first day it was to cold to ski, we used the Old Hickory free standing fire place/stove; the cabin stayed nice and warm even though it was 5 degrees outside. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare family meals. Decore was rustic and had tons of appeal. Ensure you bring chains in the winter, driveway is steep and icy. Host is great

Great Getaway

Best of Canaan was a wonderful company to work with. Knowledgeable, friendly staff answered questions and the website is top notch. Well worth a trip to Canaan Valley.

Good for family weekend.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has a spacious kitchen and living room which is basic but good for family. There was only a tiny bit of furniture outside on the deck and it was very dirty. The table on the deck was too dirty to use.

From the super accomodating staff helping us with an early arrival in our party combined with a late check-in for the rest of us! Great house close to the slopes - plenty of room for up to 12 without being on top of one another. Thanks for a great weekend on the mountain!
