What a great place to stay when visiting downtown Bozeman! Such an easy walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The place is cozy and clean. The bed is super comfortable.
The owner is very nice and easy to work with We will definitely be staying here again.
Comfortable and in a great location
The perfect, cozy place to stay when visiting Bozeman. Close to shopping and restaurants. Feel like a local in this darling neighborhood!
FYI re: 2 blocks to Main
We mostly enjoyed our stay at 2 Blocks to Main. There were 3 issues I wish I had been aware of before we rented: 1. There was a renter upstairs and the soundproofing was poor (e.g., we could hear activities, laundry being done, etc.); Irene was very responsive to my concerns about this, and it did get somewhat better; 2. The property description mentions a kitchen and eating area, which to me implied separate spaces- there is neither. There is a closet in the bedroom with a mini fridge and microwave, and a living area that has a couch and chair with an ottoman you can put a tray on, but you cannot do any real cooking (which we had planned to given that we were expecting a kitchen) or table eating; 3. The property description also includes “laundry”, but there is no washer or dryer in the unit; Irene said she could do laundry for us for a nominal fee. We had just been to Yellowstone and the Tetons, and it would have been nice to be able to wash our clothes independently. I noticed after our stay that other reviews had mentioned the first 2 issues, so I should have researched better, but I would have been less disappointed if the property description was more precise. In spite of the limitations, there is much to recommend it- the location is wonderful, the house is charming, classic, and well appointed (e.g., lots of coffee for the Keurig, wonderful tile in the bathroom, comfortable bed, cute living area, cozy), and Irene was very responsive.
I have two rental properties - one is called 2 Blocks 2 Main (short term rental) and the other is 2 Blocks 2 Main With a View (long term rental upstairs). In the first property which is the one you stayed at, I do not say that I have a kitchen.and I do not say that the rental includes a washer and dryer. I did offer to refund you your full amount minus the cleaning fee the evening you arrived and based on your review, I think it would have been good if you had taken me up on that.
The small apartment is just as described. We enjoyed our stay even with the snow. Meeting Irene was an extra treat. The Museum of the Rockies was awesome. We would not hesitate staying at 2 Blocks 2 Main again.
Perfect in every way!
Property had everything needed for a cozy stay close to our relatives. Nice walk to downtown and i felt very safe as well.
The apartment was cozy and comfortable. The location was great just two short blocks from Main St. The owner/host did a nice job of making us feel welcome and comfortable.
Everything you need for the perfect vacation is at 2 Blocks 2 Main! This rental is part of my home and will sleep two. It includes a sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom (a small refrigerator and microwave are also available for your use). These rooms have recently been completely renovated with your every comfort in mind. The bathroom has an old fashioned slipper bathtub that is ideal for a long, hot soak. Relax on the chaise couch while you search the web or watch a movie (wifi, high speed internet, and 120 channels included). The south facing front porch is a perfect place to put your feet up and watch the world go by.
