Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street and is in one of the most scenic areas of Minnesota. This historic river home was originally built as a single story 2 room homestead by settlers in 1880. With multiple additions this beautiful 5 level home now sleeps up to 10 people comfortably.
The Interior was completely updated in 2013 with special attention paid to every detail. Our home has a large main level living room and dining room area, a lower level family room great for relaxing and watching TV. It features five bedrooms, three of the bedrooms have queen beds the two other bedrooms each have two twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all new stainless appliances. A laundry room is available with a new washer and dryer. You will love the large 14'x 20' screen porch. Or relax on the deck overlooking the beautiful St. Croix River.
Surrounded by a challenging variety of outdoor recreational options, the small village on the St. Croix River can keep you active and interested with its small-town charm and natural beauty. MN and WI Interstate Park are within walking distance, you can enjoy miles of hiking trails, walk through Glacial Park “Pot holes”, canoe, kayak or rock climb. Or enjoy the scenic beauty by taking a River Boat Tour and watch eagles soar over the river.
