Guests love the location of this house as well as my other two VRBO Properties, one just across the street (619156) and the other five doors down (1030372) all on the same street, families really enjoy the convience.

Old Colorado City is located near the southern edge of the Rocky Mountains, easily accessible by car as well as by air through both Colorado Springs Airport and Denver International Airport—this is where convenience and comfort unite. The house is fully renovated 1898 Victorian.

Platte House has 3 Bedrooms, 2 full baths, Central Air Conditioning through out. All bedrooms have Doctor's Choice Queen Beds and Ralph Lauren Sheets, Baby Crib available. The Living room features a Pottery Barn custom wrap around couch and Whiskey color leather ottoman. Five television's through out the house including the Kitchen. Landscaped/fenced in backyard and manicured front yard great for a BBQ on the gas grill. Large high end washing machine and dryer, owner supplies detergent and fabric softner. Refrigerator/freezer with front door ice maker and purified water system. Comfortable Front Porch, great views of Pikes Peak and the mountain range. Lots of wildlife will walk through the front yard, enjoy a nice quiet evening walking a short distance to fun shoppes, beautiful galleries and many restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlors.

Colorado Springs and the cute historic towns offer an inspiring array of outdoor activities that take advantage of the natural beauty of Colorado and caters to guests' and their individual interests.

What makes this house unique

With over 300 days of sunshine each year and virtually no humidity, Colorado Springs provides the perfect backdrop to explore the timeless beauty of the West. Historic Old Colorado City is less than 3 blocks away from the house and less than a 4 minute walk, during the summer every Saturday from 7AM-1:00PM we have a Farmer's Market with local produce, meats, cheese, bread and flowers. Throughout the summer every Thursday at Bancroft Park we have concerts and all summer long we have festivals and a Friday Night Art Walk.

Charming home located close to everything

Stayed at the property with my elderly in-laws, husband, teen-aged son & dog. House was perfect for us as it has a downstairs bed and bath so my in-laws did not have to climb the stairs. Living room was roomy with a big sectional, back yard is great, completely fenced with picnic tables and a grill. Overall house was well equipped. Best thing about the rental was the location - a couple of blocks from Main Street Old Town Colorado Springs, a few miles from Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Pikes Peak, and Cave of the Winds. Christina was also quick to respond to questions and accommodating. The next time I am in Colorado Springs I hope to stay in one of her properties again.

Lovely home! Super close to old town Colorado. Christina was very helpful with her suggestions and very prompt responses. Want to book it again for the summertime. Highly recommend.
