Known as the Jewel of Montenegro the old medieval town and Venetian port of Kotor is a short, pleasant walk away, just 300m across the blue bay. Outside the town is a daily market with fresh meat, fish, fruit, vegetables and flowers. Many good restaurants to suit all pockets can be found giving good service and good value for money. Kotor bay is central for visiting other beautiful locations around the area and in my view the best position.
