Magnificent mountain views in all directions. The villa is luxurious and very spacious. Beamed wooden ceiling to the lounge which covers 55 sqm which is a beautiful focal point to our villa. Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout.

Our region is blessed with Sun almost throughout the year and is recognised by the World Health Authority to be one of the most healthy places in the world to live. Long hot sunny months with mild winters provides us with what I believe is the best place in the world to live. One of the finest holiday climates,steeped in history surrounded by Mountains,Valleys,Water falls,and springs. We cater to every individual taste with quality and finesse.

Altea is the local gem 30 mins drive. This is without doubt one of the most charming towns to be found on Spain's 'White Coast'. If you want all night clubs and the bright city lights on your holiday, give Altea a miss. This town is a holiday haven for the more discerning tourist who will be captivated by its medieval cobbled streets, its picture book old quarter and the delights of its palm-fringed seafront esplanade

Why The Owner chose Llíber

We fell in love with the Jalon Valley the moment we first saw it. So when asked the question do you believe in love at first sight the answer is definitely YES. We were able to find a fantastic plot of land 1.25 acres and we designed and had our own villa built in this wonderful breathtaking Valley.

What makes this villa unique

The World Health Aurthority says that this area of Spain is one of the healthiest places to live in the world. I agree!! Long hot Summer months and very mild Winters

Total Privacy.Rural living at it's best

We are surrounded by Almond trees and Olive trees, Peace and blissful quiet away from the hustle of town life. The country-side is majestic we are surrounded by wonderful mountains in all directions

We had a amazing Holiday at Casa Mistol.

Fab Villa,Private with no noise,COMFY COMFY BEDS,lots of towels,pillows everything we needed.

The Pool and bbQ area with its views to die for.We wanted a Peaceful and relaxing holiday and the villa ticked all the boxes.The kids spent every waking hour in the pool.

Mike arranged for hire bikes which I would recommend because the area is renowned for its fab cycle/walking routes.We were told Holidays purely for Walking and Cycling may be a possibility in the near future which we would be interested in during the cooler months.

Our very private, large swimming pool is not overlooked in any direction, it is 10mtr x 5m with Roman steps leading to the shallow end of the pool, the deep end is suitable for diving. The pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. You will also find by the pool a bbq house which has a wash basin and a large food preparation area. Ample sun loungers and outside garden furniture can be found around the pool. The large covered Naya area by the villa is superb for eating alfresco. We have an olive tree over 100 years old that you can sit under in the shade and relax. Other large trees can be found throughout the grounds. POOL TOWELS PROVIDED.

Beautiful Villa in an ideal location

We had a wonderful two week holiday in this fab villa set in an ideal location. Stunning area with lots to explore situated within walking distance to small village taking in veiws of the surrounding vineyards and mountain range, 20 minute drive to coast. The villa is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The pool is super well maintained and suitable for diving.The locals were warm and welcoming. Thankyou to Michael and Stephanie for their care, attention to detail and excellent communication. I would highly recommend this villa.

Well what a great time we had. A fantastic villa in a lovely setting. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in Xalo or Benissa. Lovely pool. Had a really relaxing holiday. Try the wine from Xalo. 2 litres of Rose for €2.70

Villa Mistol - An Escape to Tranquility

Villa Mistol is in a pleasant, quiet and secluded location, but within easy reach of a main road - a car is essential. It is spacious, clean and well maintained with large grounds, good facilities and a lovely large swimming pool. In all, an ideal place for anyone who wants peace and privacy whilst also being a good base for exploring the local area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in the villa, had no problems, found the owners helpful and friendly, and spent most of our time relaxing on site with TV to watch in the evenings. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful, spacious villa

We found this property to be the perfect place for a large family (ourselves, three children and two sets of grandparents) to share for two weeks without feeling on top of each other. We all had a separate area of the villa, each with its own bathroom, situated off an ample living room. All of which were absolutely spotless. As was the well equipped kitchen and outside dining area. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, it was a pleasure to stay here.

There is a fantastic pool and large outside space which is very private, surrounded by a beautiful garden and views. It is situated very conveniently for exploring the region, not too far a drive from coastal towns (20mins). The nearest town Xalo has a lovely large Saturday morning market. There is also plenty of choice for eating out. One of the nearest restaurants Bistro Selene (3min drive) is excellent, both for food and service. Another local restaurant Venta Roja (2min drive) offers takeaway paella, also excellent.

We had a fantastic holiday here and truly cannot fault anything about the villa or service provided. Even the directions we were given to find the villa from the airport were spot on.

A beautiful villa and peaceful location. The pool and gardens are stunning and the villa is furnished and cleaned to the highest standard with everything you would need. Mike and Steph were really helpful and on hand if we needed anything. Definitely recommend and would visit again

Fabulous January holiday

Just stayed at this Villa in January.Weather was great ,we never saw any rain, temperature amazing for the time of year. The best decision to have a couple of weeks away from the constant rain back home in Cornwall. Villa was fantastic, we played scrabble outside in the evening, drinking wine from the Jalon Bodega which was excellent.We enjoyed all the local walks and even climbed up the Montgo near Javea on a route recommended by Stephanie our host. Our super hosts recommended several restaurants which were diverse but all superb, glorious Spanish tapas & paella, Chinese Banquet, German to Indian cuisine. Villa was immaculately clean and we felt at home in many ways. Grounds surround the Villa lovely and private and most importantly quiet. Mike booked us several rounds of golf at different courses we had allotted tee times which worked well with no hiccups.

We would not hesitate to recommend this Villa. 5 Star and we will be back!

The nearest villages of Jalon and Lliber are 2 mins drive away or a relaxing 15 mins walk. Here you will find banks, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and wonderful tapas bars. Try menu del dia, 3 courses including wine. Its incredible and very popular for obvious reasons. Jalon also has several wine bodegas and a Rastro / flea market on Saturday mornings which is extremely popular. Safe and clean blue flag beaches. Calpe 15 mins. Javea and Moraira 30 mins.

The Jalon Valley, Vall de Pop, is often referred to as the Valley of the Wine, with the village of Jalon being the capital of the valley. It holds a central position surrounded by smaller villages, grape vines, almond and orange groves and stunning mountain ranges, with the Sierra de Bernia to the South. In late January, early February the valley literally comes alive with the most amazing blanket of pink and white blossoms.

Even though this village feels rather remote and rural it is still only a 20 minute drive from the coastal resort of Calpe.

The village itself has a beautiful fountain situated in the old square close to the church, Santa Maria, which has a neo-classic style and blue dome. There is an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants, not to mention some fabulous bodegas as Jalon is famous for its local wine, mostly red wine and the sweet Mistela or Moscatel wines. Not to be missed on a Saturday morning is the busy rastro market, which attracts both locals and tourists alike with fabulous bargains to be found including many antiques and bric-a-brac.

Calpe, is on the southern point of the Marina Alta and reached from the south along the beautiful Mediterranean coastline. It is a perfect combination of modern town, old village, beach and fishing port. Originally it was a small fishing village, but over the years it has expanded rapidly. Calpe has to be most famous for its amazing rock, the Peñon de Ifach, which is over 332 metres in height and is now a nature park that protects unique vegetation and over 300 species of animals.


Calpe also has two long, sandy,blue flag white beaches that offer excellent swimming and kite surfing possibilities as well as salt flats, an ancient salt mine where today flamingos can be seen in their natural habitat. The old town of Calpe has traditional narrow winding streets and typical Spanish architecture with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Calpe though is a place of contrast as not only does it have the romantic old town, but also modern buildings, fantastic bars and a great night life.


Javea (Xabia) is situated between the San Antonio and de la Nau bays, 80km north east of Alicante and 111km south of Valencia between Denia and Altea. There are many hidden caves and bays in the area that make ideal situations for sunbathers, snorklers and scuba divers. The average Javea weather reaches temperatures of up to 40°C in summer, but not less than 10°C during winter.

Javea is divided into three areas, the village which is 3 km inland, the port of Javea and the beach areas, with a total of around 20,000 inhabitants.

The streets in the old town of Javea are typically Spanish with a magnificent fortified Gothic church, many traditional houses along with bars, restaurants and shops. The harbour area provides a multitude of restaurants and bars and the views from the Cabo de San Martin are stunning.

Javea has a wide variety of landscape, ranging from its sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas and it combines both traditional beauty and modern facilities with the charm of an ancient fishing village.

Benidorm is, without a doubt, the Costa Blanca’s main tourist resort. The area is protected from winds due to its geographic location making it a superb location for sunbathing along the 3 miles of fine, powdery sandy beaches and next to the beautiful blue, clear waters. Since the beginning of the century Benidorm has changed dramatically from a small fishing village with just 2,000 inhabitants to what is now, a sprawl of skyscrapers and hotels hugging the seafront. However, the beautiful historical centre has retained much of its quaint atmosphere and is now very cosmopolitan.
