Cozy
This little cool and cozy cabin is that, not loud at all, less than 10 min from the gas stations, and big bear lake, nice heater that keeps the property nice and warm during this winter. You get what you pay for and i like this :)

The property itself would've been a stellar experience if it wasn't for the cold water. The shower only had hot water for a little less than 3 minutes, and was cold for the rest of our time being there. The house also did not provide us the best heaters to keep us warm throughout the night. The fireplace was the closest thing that could keep us warm although it took quite some time for the house to start getting warm.

I liked the commutation with the host who answered my call quickly. The cabin is clean, but there were a few things that I disliked. The smell of ant killer was so strong that it gave me headache, I had to sleep with the window open for 2 nights. We stayed for 3 nights and the smell lingered around the whole time which was very annoying. When we got back home, the first thing I did was to wash everything we brought, that's how bad the smell was! I liked the fact that there are 2 beds and 1 futon that fitted our needs, but the quality of the beds and especially the futon were horrible. Very uncomfortable to sleep on. The futon was uneven and there's a big dip in the middle so it's hard on my back. I did appreciate the availability though, but I guess you pay for what you get. The cabin was small and in ok neighborhood, but everything that comes with it is just very poor quality and unpleasant.

For the price not bad and allows dogs
For the price it’s not bad. Older mountain cottage that seemed clean inside. My only complaints were the electric grill outside was not working (had to cook inside) and the outside area needs landscaped pretty badly. I get that in winter snow probably kills it off then summer it probably grows like crazy but maybe 1 landscape session per summer would be good so it doesn’t look so overgrown. Not a good look.
