Perfectly located, clean and spacious family home
We had a great time during our first visit to Bend. This home is even better than the pictures online! Very centrally located to restaurants, coffee/bakery, parks and trails. Easy bike ride to river. The home has high ceilings in the main room, we used the upstairs bedroom as an office by day and a movie room for the family at night. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. Only downside was the hot tub was out of order but the host was very communicative about this and seems like that is out of the ordinary. Highly recommend!

Great Layout and Location on the West Side!
We were lucky enough to stay at this house for a few weeks this summer. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we might need as well as space to store our own gear. We were impressed with the kitchen inventory and we easily entertained a group of ten for dinner. Each bed was comfortable and there were extra linens and towels for all guests and the hot tub. The location was ideal as it was a nice walk to Drake Park, downtown and west side restaurants. Our son enjoyed being minutes away from bike trails and hikes. Kirsti was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. We’d absolutely love to stay here again!

Lovely Home
We are 3 couples that rented this home for a month. The home accommodated us very well. Bonus after touring Bend all day was to come back to the house and soak in the hot tub. Kitchen is well equipped and house is centrally located. We would for sure rent this home again in the future.

Perfect for our stay in Bend!
The house was perfect for our group. We could not have had a better location. The 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms were great for privacy, but, the open living area made visiting easy and comfortable. We would recommend this house and hope to visit again next year. Kirsti was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you so very much.

Modern 3 bed, 3 bath & clean
We stayed in Bend the week of 2017 eclipse. House was well stocked with essentials, including bicycles. We had a very nice time in Bend visiting several parks and playgrounds, since we had a 4-year old in our group. Even found a beach on the Deschutes River for water play. Unfortunately there was a fire near Sisters, OR and was quite smoky for 2-3 days. We also visited Crater Lake, several hours south of Bend, worth the drive as is the deepest lake in U.S. Ate at 4 of high recommended restaurants and food was very good. House had 2 TV's, but we could not get the DISH to work in living room to watch regular local stations, but set had other options. A great place to stay for summer fun in Bend. Probably great for winter activities, also.

About the host

I grew up visiting Bend every February to ski for a week. Now I am thrilled to have a second home to share with my family and with you! As 'outdoorsy' types, we love that Bend simply calls you to be outside. We love the mountain biking, downhill skiing, hiking--many of which can be done in the same day depending on the season! We also love the charm of Old Downtown, with all of its local flavor, and the upscale 'ritz' of the Old Mill District, with its multitude of concerts, art shows, and activities. Come play!

Why they chose this property

Our biggest criteria for buying a home in Bend, was to be close enough to walk to our favorite activities, and we succeeded! We also love that the floor plan is open, bright and inviting, with a nice blend of class and comfort and room to relax on the deck facing Awbrey Butte, or the back patio which gets the morning and afternoon sun.

What makes this property unique

We love being able to have a houseful of people, but still sleep at night without hearing any of them! The 3 bedrooms are as far away from each other as they could possibly be. Also plenty of showers for a houseful of guests to get cleaned up after a day of riding, hiking or skiing. As the primary cook for our family, I love being able to prepare a meal and interact with our guests at the same time. It's a great social layout.
