Awesome family friendly location

  • 5 of 5

I grew up in this town & lived less than a block from the Lawn Beach Inn. It used to be a restaurant/bar with some rooms upstairs for rent. It's big and can accommodate a large family or number of people for entertaining...both inside and out. It's an older property, so nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed including WiFi and cable. The Owner is super nice and very responsive should you need anything or have any questions. Just got back and already looking forward to next year.

So unique!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a family wedding. My brothers and sisters stayed here with us. Hosted the rehearsal dinner here. Could not have asked for a better location or house. It is set up as an inn and restaurant and is so cute. Deck is wonderful. Well stocked with everything and anything you could think of. Friends want to rent it to host their Christmas. Another group just wants to rent for unique experience. The town is so cute. Two bars and a Dairy Queen. Sharon's restaurant is great too.

It was very charming and roomy. Beautiful house. Nice location.

  • 4 of 5

I would recommend the eatery next door for the food and the service. Extremely friendly and happy to please. It was nice. The Inn is a beautiful structure. LOTS of character and charm. It accommodated our large group very well.

The kitchen was large and perfect...except that it was rather dirty. I am sure we left it cleaner than we found it. There was some old food in the oven when we went to use it.

If that were remedied, it would be almost perfect. We really did enjoy our stay. It is close to Duluth and lots of hiking and scenery.

The owners were quick to respond when we called with a question. Very pleasant.

A week enjoyed by the family

  • 5 of 5

The lawn Beach Inn we found to be very charming. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant area as a great gathering place. For us it was a great central location as we venture to different places each day. Those places being Canal park in Duluth. Bayfield Wisconsin, Brule Wisconsin, and the charming state parks around Superior including Wisconsin point. Daily walks around the town of Lake Nebagamon felt very safe and the locals are friendly. The Owner was more than willing to answer all my questions over the years time, even letting me visit the property last fall to see if it would work for my out of town family and myself. this is a older property so if your expecting modern this is not for you. for us it was perfect.

Super cool old building. Really nice little town. Beautiful lake.

  • 4 of 5

Nice big house that accommodated our large group. Beautiful lake to boat on. Municipal beach next door. The Cenex station has anything you could possibly need. Except fishing licenses ironically. We had a great week. I would suggest more information from you Bill on check in and check out times. Owner was easy to deal with and very helpful. The kitchen equipment seemed a little old and run down but it was fun to work in the kitchen. The dining area and bar were really nice. The BBQ grill was awesome. I gotta get me one of those. Wish there had been a firepit for nightly fires.

A lovely summer town!

  • 5 of 5

Our group had a wonderful time at Beach Lawn Inn in Lake Nebagamon, WI. We canoed the Brule River one morning and it is a jewel of the north woods. The Inn is only a short drive from Brule River Canoe Rentals. They shuttled us for a reasonable price. The swimming beach was so close and it was fun to watch the local children traipse from home to beach in their suits and towels. Truly a summer town! The loons called, the lake was an inviting blue and clear and clean. We had a canoe at our disposal, and we swam. The commercial kitchen worked for us--we were a large group--as did the dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and the abundance of bathrooms was a real plus. We relaxed on the wrap around deck with a gorgeous view. The floors creak in a charming way, and reminded us of all the history the Inn had seen. We were happy we came!
