About this property

Single storey house with burglar bars on windows and back door, located about100 metres from popular beach. Two bedrooms, one shower/bathroom and outdoor shower area. One locked side entrance. One bedroom has double bed. Other bedroom has single bed with a bed-space over built-in wardrobe. Laundry area. This room, in a pinch can accommodate 2 adults or 2 children. Owner, an artist, lives on premises in backyard annex to provide on-hand advice, additional security. Owner will also meet guests at airport and give brief guided tour of Bridgetown. 3 free bicycles. Backyard recreational area now being constructed. One computer, DVD player in each room. Cable TV, Wi-Fi. No air-conditioning but wall mounted fans in each room. Living room used as mini-art gallery. 10 minutes walk to heart of Bridgetown, super markets, shopping, restaurants. Good taxi service. Bus stop to airport, south coast in front of house. Public transport to west coast and rest of island within walking distance. Good healthcare facilities nearby. Hospital 200 metres away.

Good value

Convenient, but traffic noise no hot water. But if you have earplugs and ok with very basic place. Host is very accommodating and will even pick you up at the airport and give an island tour. He is great artist so check out his paintings! Good price

It's located just 100 metres from most popular beach in Barbados, Carlisle Bay/Browne's Beach, is just a 10-15 minute from the heart of Bridgetown. You can use public transport to get to/from the airport. Bus service for the islands entire south coast runs directly in front of the house. The main bus terminal to reach any part of the island is just a short walk away. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment is within walking distance.

House is almost on the beach and almost in the heart of Bridgetown, the island's capital city. If you are the cycling type, 3 free bicycles are available. House owner lives on premises in back-yard annexe to provide additional security and instant advice or information.
