5 Star Luxury Accommodation on private estate
- english, Dutch (evenings)
I'm the luckiest person to live and work here and am never going to get to the bottom of the list of things we want to do here. There's another pond to go in, more flagstone and all you lovely guests to meet from all over the world. When we opened to guests four years ago I had no idea that it would be so enjoyable, it's a pleasure to be here and I hope it is for you.
Jill purchased this Barn in 1988
Why Jill chose Cranbrook
We loved this area of England and spent 2 years looking for suitable land to buy, then spent ten years trying for planning permission and finally got it. We wanted to build in the true style of Kent and we hope you will approve of the results
What makes this Barn unique
NEW FOR THIS YEAR - A FABULOUS WEBER MASTER TOUCH CHARCOAL GRILL AND RECIPE BOOK- Great for cooking sausages to Christmas Turkey!! Our farm stands within a truly delightful 43 acres of beautiful quiet countryside with georgous view. We have two lakes of 12 acres to stroll around and over the last ten years we have planted 12,000 native broadleaf trees with walk ways through. This all creates the perfect place to just chill out or explore the delights of south east England

Weekend birthday break
This is one of the best short stay places we have been to. The house was spacious immaculate and well stocked. We used as base to go to Chapel Down vineyard, Leeds castle and Rye all really accessible but would have been equally happy staring at the views and walking around the 43 acres. Will hopefully return again later in the year.
Amazing getaway ,recommend highly
A spectacular cottage in the Kent countryside
We just had a fantastic holiday at the Oak Barn. We arrived to a tea service of cake and the most delicious loaf of homemade sourdough bread I have ever had. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen and took walks around the grounds and to the local pub (the Woodcock). This is an absolutely perfect house, with lovely little details that made it so warm and comfortable. Highly recommended and we hope to be back!
Relaxing weekend away in Kent
10/10 - great hosting by Jill. The welcome afternoon tea was such a treat to find on our arrival.
The place is amazing, beautiful surroundings, incredible property. If you are looking for peace and quiet and to get away from it all this is the place for you!
The bedrooms are both wonderful with huge beds and well equipped bathrooms, plenty of room for two couples, and the wood burner and well equipped kitchen made the whole weekend one to remember.
