Located ten miles south of Gainesville on 15 acres. Upon entering the property through the private gated entry, you will travel a very short tree-lined lovely country driveway. The property has a large swimming pool and a lake (no swimming). Majestic oak trees are scattered around the property creating beauty and shade. Deer, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes, and other wildlife visit often. The night sky scattered with stars is a real treat as well as the outdoor fire pit during the colder months. As you can see from the treelined driveway, this is a beautiful spot in the middle of the beauty of nature.
The indoor space is filled with windows and views of the beauty of north-central Florida! The house is rustic and it isn't fancily decorated but it's very homey and comfortable.
There is free internet service and Wi-Fi is located on the desk in the kitchen but no password is necessary. We do not have TV reception...however, we do have a smart TV (not a big one) that can be hooked up to your laptop, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or any of your accounts.

If there is a problem with mobility for any potential guests, this is not the place for you.
This home has 3 floors, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and many stairs, a Living Room, Dining Room, Sitting Room, a large kitchen with an electric stove, a stocked kitchen, a huge deck on the second floor, a screened-in patio, and washer and dryer on the first floor, swimming pool, barbecue and much much more.
There is a studio apartment that is occasionally rented out which is about 300 feet away from the main house. From time to time there may be guests (sleeps 3) but they do not have access to the pool, washer dryer, or any of the property that you would be renting at the time (except if you also rent the studio).
Micanopy the oldest city in Florida is less than a mile walk (or drive) and it's known for its 19th-century buildings offering visitors antiques, art, food, music, and hospitality under the shade of enormous oak trees.
Gainesville is the home of the University of Florida and it's a booming universal town with nightlife, good restaurants, live theatre, music venues, natural springs, beautiful parks, Paynes Prairie and a wide variety of wildlife.
