About Vacasa of the Coeur d'Alene Region
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Being Spied On
I think it would have been a good time if we were not being watched by the owners neighbor (a family member) constantly!! Calling the PM to report activity and assuming rules were not being followed. It was very uncomfortable feeling.
Cabin on the Lake
The views are awesome and only a short walk to the water with a private dock. It is tucked away and directions to the cabin is a must.
Cabin on the Lake
Wonderful view with only a short walk to the water and private beach. We stayed in September so all the neighbors were not there - very private. This cabin has lots of apple trees so saw whitetail deer every day right outside our door. It is a drive to the nearest town so if you want a relaxing, quiet vacation, this is an excellent choice. Be prepared there is only 1 TV but plenty of books and games to enjoy.
Little Piece of Heaven!
My friend and I rented this place to take our four teenage girls on a getaway. This place was perfect for our group. The private dock was a big hit with our girls, and they loved jumping off the dock and floating in the calm water. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, and the views were to die for.
This place is a little far from civilisation, which is why we chose it, but if you want to a run into town for a quart of milk, it is a bit of a drive. Some people commented that the walk to the beach was a bit steep. We were worried before we arrived that it might be dangerous. We were happy to discover that the trail is quite doable. It might be dangerous if you have been drinking on the dock and need to walk up in the dark, but during the day it isn't bad.
This home is a cosy cottage on the lake. That was what we wanted for our four teenagers, and we all enjoyed our stay, While the internet was a little spotty, this made the trip even better because our children had to spend time without their phones and play the board games that were graciously provided by the homeowner. This place is perfect for people looking to get a little R & R.
We spent four nights in August at this property. There were four tweens and two adults. The home was great for us. Our kids enjoyed the dock, and the ability to suntan on the beach. The parents enjoyed the views and appreciate the lack of sound and people. The property is a bit of a drive from civilisation, but I think that is what makes it so unique. We didn't find it that steep nor challenging to get to the beach. I wouldn't want to climb up in the dark after a night of drinking, but we did not have any problems. Our only suggestions would be:
1. bring a flashlight - it is dark here at nighttime
2. the internet was hit and miss - didn't bother the parents, but the tweens were upset
3. bring a floatie to enjoy the water.
4. Relax!!!
If you are looking to get away from it, all this is the place for you. That said if you want a state of the art house, with modern furnishings then this is not the place for you. This cabin is a place where you can relax, enjoy the sunset, and spend time on the quiet and serene lake,
Paradise Away from Home
It was the perfect getaway from reality!! Very secluded and away from the public. The best place to relax and unwind and not worry about anything. Other than a few dirty bowls that were in the cabinet and dust on countertops, I couldn’t have asked for a better location! Laying on the dock and playing pine cone fetch with Fathom (neighbors dog) was a great Saturday morning spent. The neighbors were also extremely nice and very inviting! We didn’t feel like we were intruding. Will definitely recommend this home!
