Melissa Carvalho or Tom Cox purchased this Boat in 1994
Why Melissa Carvalho or Tom Cox chose Charlestown
It was our ideal vessel for living-aboard. Great location in Boston Harbor, like an oasis in the midst of the city. We lived on Rozinante for three years and chartered her extensively.
What makes this Boat unique
Guaranteed water views. Truly unique and very comfortable - suited well for a romantic getaway or a family of four. All the comforts of home in an ocean going sailboat with a must see Jacuzzi on a sailboat.
Pool / Spa
Great stay afloat, loved the boat, the location and the city.
Great sailboat, great location, great staff.
This B&B lived up to expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, boat was very cool, very clean, very well appointed. The staff was quick was answers and help if needed. We enjoyed the bakery that served as the Breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast. The view was fantastic from the boat. The location was great, as well. You can walk all over Boston from this boat, and being able to pick up the Freedom Trail nearby was nice. The USS Constitution was nearby, the Boston Garden...really...nothing was too far away.
Wonderfully relaxing and romantic.
My wife and I spent a long weekend on this beautiful sailboat to get away and celebrate our wedding anniversary. Pictures really do speak a thousand words. This unique accommodation lives up to everything you would expect from the pictures and more. The boat was nice and clean and free of any musty smells. The residents of the neighboring boats were friendly and quite when the sun went down. The main suite bed was very comfortable and it was very relaxing to fall asleep with the subtle moment of the boat. All that and a jacuzzi tub to boot.
Two thumbs up from us!
Pics Dont Come Close!!
I wanted a peaceful place next to the water so I could focus on writing. We stayed on this sail boat for 4 nights and it was amazing. The view is fantastic. Boat was clean, the amenities were all available and usable. The marina staff went above & beyond. I admit I wasnt crazy about Boston, the traffic etc but this boat was like a little piece of paradise in a busy bustling city. Not sure if I will visit the area again but if I do this is where I would stay. Total recommend.
This is a beautiful and lovingly cared for schooner.
Our experience from the outset was incredible. The staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and informative. We enjoyed having so many excellent restaurants nearby and being close to Cambridge and Boston.
The stay was amazing! We appreciate the opportunity to stay and live out an experience, not just a hotel stay. The ship was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We look forward to another stay in the future! Very centrally located. I recommend this as a place to stay and plan your adventures from!
Dozens of Boston's best restaurants, museums, parks, and historical sites within walking distance. USS Constitution sailing vessel next door. Pool and barbecue area on site.
