Welcome to SeeCampRanch in a special East/West Valley very close to SLO & Avila

SeeCampRanch is nestled in a very special East / West Valley less than 10 minutes from Avila Beach and less than 15 minutes from Downtown San Luis Obispo.

Our OutHouse is a very comfortable and architecturally pleasing fully insulated two bedroom barn with full bath and gourmet kitchen...along with our adjacent Mezzanine Loft and Bunkalow...the three venues offer a total of 3000 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and delightfully private sleeping for 10-12.

Either the entire compound of each individual venue are available for your consideration.

The OutHouse, Mezzanine Loft and Bunkalow have been recently designed and constructed to a great extent with high quality re-purposed materials. The buildings are very substantial, well insulated, boast steel windows and doors and are inspired architecture. The surrounding landscape and hardscape are peaceful and nurturing.

The views and vibe are great and the property is ideally located in a rural setting between SLO and Avila Beach.

The patios, garden, bbq and outdoor shower and additional 'half bath' located in our Garden Kitchen area are always appreciated by our guests.

Very nice place Jim Miller is a genius!!! Plenty of room and love that it was secluded! Saw deer and wild turkey. Me and my wife really enjoyed the rainbox (outdoor shower) plenty of games to keep kids occupied we had a great stay and will stay here again!! Thanks for being great host Jim and Kay

Tranquility, comfort and convenience

Jim and Kay are excellent hosts. They have thought of just about every detail to make one feel comfortable and welcome. One is greeted and walked through the amenities and details to enjoy the property, affectionately named the "Outhouse". Ranch dogs Stewart and Beatrice will keep you company on the patio, if you like. They are really sweet and gentle. The rental has a huge kitchen and living area where we hosted a family meal for 10, even though fewer stayed overnight. The outdoor shower option is private and surprisingly pleasant way to wash of the sand from the beach.

The property is located well off See Canyon Road and San Luis Drive so it is very peaceful. And the drive to Avila Beach is about 10 minutes or less. This beach typically is immune from the marine layer that can shroud the coast in Pismo or Morro Bay. And has a fun famer's market on Friday afternoon.

Take the scenic drive up See Canyon Road to Prefumo Canyon to enjoy spectacular views of Los Osos Valley and even Morro Rock.

Will stay again next trip to SLO.

Jim and Kay have excellent recommendations for restaurants, locally caught fish and nearby ranched meats that you can grill on their patio. Make sure you take their advice.

What a gift it was to stay at the "Outhouse". This is a property that everyone should be able to experience! Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with others, just 10 minutes from San Luis Obispo, 5 minutes to Avila Beach but still peaceful and quiet.
