Just what I needed.

Wonderful lakefront cottage. Clean and well appointed. Just secluded enough, but no too far from stores and restaurants. Very peaceful. Saw Loons, Osprey, and Bald Eagles from the dock. Very comfortable bed. Loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Everything is there for your enjoyment. Grab it!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place to get away from the maddening crowd. Owners were helpful and easy to get in touch with. Everything was there for you. You are rIght on the pond, or as a New Yorker would say, "it's a lake!" Fishing kayaking, fire pit, wonderful views. We saw moose, loons, river otters, deer, snakes, frogs, horses. We went white-water rafting. The people were friendly and the area was gorgeous. Ponds (lakes), trees, mountains, waterfalls, wide open spaces. The owners Ralph and Kim have a little piece of heaven tucked away in Maine. Put this on your bucket list!

Perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this place soooo much! It has everything imaginable that a person would need. The upstairs loft with the bedroom and sitting area is like being in a treehouse. It was so nice looking out at the lake. The front lawn is spacious and the hammock was so relaxing to lie in and look up at the sky. There's a fire pit that came in handy on the cool evenings. The lake is great for bass fishing, and the stars at night are amazing! We even got to enjoy a full moon while we were there. I highly recommend staying here!

Quiet, charming retreat.

  • 5 of 5

We found the perfect place with the right combination of relaxation and outdoor activities. Center Pond is peaceful, the house is immaculate, and there is plenty to do in the area. Our busy NJ family (including teenagers- tough critics) had a wonderful week in this well stocked, charming home. We even enjoyed the long winding back roads to get to groceries and ice cream!

Had a great time. Pond is serene. If you love the outdoors (we dayhiked parts of the AT and Baxter) this is a great base camp with almost all the comforts of home. Don't miss Stutzmans for brunch!
