Stay was perfect

  • 5 of 5

House was great. It has all the cooking supplies, such as salt, pepper, oil and few other amenities (washer and dryer which are a major plus). Even in mid July, the house were pretty cool in the evening and night time. They do have fan in the living room and the master bed room. They have wifi which the kids love, keeping in touch with their friends. It is an hour drive to Crater Lake but the scenery was great. Wife and I stopped pretty much on the road side, taking pictures of the cows and horses. It is an open range country.

Amazing Home Near the Pacific Crest Trail

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I are past the time of camping out while hiking the PCT. This home gave us real beds, warm showers and a place to prepare great food to "come home to" after hiking. The picture of the front of this home makes it look more rustic than it is. This is a beautiful home and we had all we needed for the time we spent here. One lady did not hike and she really enjoyed her "vacation" here. The home is easy to get to (all paved roads) and the owner, as well as a local manager, are very accessible. We were on the phone with both and they took great care of us. Good information from the owner before we came helped in our trip planning also. This location would be great for other adventures besides hiking with 2 large lakes nearby. A longer drive would get you to Crater Lake, Klamath Falls and even Ashland. The draw for us was having the PCT so close to such a nice, comfortable home. Thanks for sharing it with us.
