Private entrance from the side yard into this beautiful guest ground floor 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4!
The Living Area has a Smart flat-screen TV and a pull out couch that sleeps 2.
There is dining area with a comfortable size table and leather chairs.
You will have access to WIFI and we have Central AC.

The Master Bedroom has a Queen size bed with a leather headboard along with nightstands, a closet and suitcase stands for your convenience.

The bath has a classic look with beautiful marble tiles, a full bath and a pedestal sink.
All linens and towels will be provided.

At the Kitchenette you will find a microwave, a mini-fridge, a sink, a 12cup programmable coffee maker, a counter top oven/airfryer, a tea kettle and a toaster,
Utensils, plates, cups and glasses along with spices, olive oil, vinegar, milk and a WELCOME basket will be at your disposal.

20-30 minutes from midtown Manhattan!
1 block away from the main boulevard where all the buses run, also very close to the ferry!

The place is located in a super safe and quiet residential area with lots of amenities (grocery stores, laundromats, and restaurants) close by. Braddock Park is just a block away with a huge lake to walk around or sit and enjoy an ice cream and Boulevard East is just 2 minutes’ walk, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of NYC and Hudson River or hop on an NJ transit bus for a quick ride into NYC.

Perfect

A very nice and lovely place to stay. And it is very close to NYC. Just take transit bus lines 128, 165 or 166 and you will be at Time Square less then 60 minutes. In combination of NJTRANSIT and NYC-Metro-Card you will have all desired destinations of a little price - enjoye it! And getting out and walking 2 minutes you will have a prefect view of the skyline of NYC. In NJ you will have every thing needed in less then 15 minutes on foot. We loved it.

Lovely apartment in a quiet neigbourhood

Beautifully furnished, clean and spacious apartment half an hour from Mid Manhattan by bus. It was very nice to come back to the apartment after a busy day in the city and the beds were very comfortable. Marianna was very helpful and gave us good information about the transport to Manhattan. We highly recommend this apartment if you want to relax after a day in the big city.

Un cocon douillet au calme à 2 pas de manhattan...

Dès la réservation, la qualité de nos nombreux échanges de mails et les conseils prodigués par Marianna, nous ont permis de bien préparer notre voyage (le 4ème pour ma part à NYC) et surtout a permis de nous rassuré sur la qualité de nos hôtes. Tout au long de notre séjour, Marianna a été prévenante avec un désir ressenti de faire en sorte que tout se passe bien. Elle a su allier conseils, bienveillance et discrétion. Nous étions entièrement indépendants et nos contacts se faisant au travers du site de réservation, sauf la veille de notre départ où nous avons eu le plaisir de faire sa connaissance ainsi que celle de son Mari. Nous avions décidé de faire notre trajet vers Manhattan en bus et nous avons été agréablement surpris par la proximité de l'arrêt (3 min à pied) avec une desserte régulière et rapide. Nous avons rarement attendu 10 min à l'arrêt et nous avons adoré le voyage nous faisant bénéficier de la Skyline sur la majorité du trajet d'environ 30 min pour rejoindre time Square. Pour l'anecdote... un jour où un accident avait coupé la circulation du trajet du bus, Marianna nous a spontanément formulé des conseils pour pouvoir rentrer par d'autres moyens de transport. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement très accueillant, décoré avec gout et très propre. La literie nous a notamment permis de bien récupérer de nos longues marches…

Appartement calme dans le NJ à environ 30 minutes de Time Square

Nous avons voyagé avec nos deux filles de 10 et 6 ans et avons été très bien accueillis par Marianna qui avait préparé une corbeille de fruits et un petit déjeuner. L'appartement est calme, il n'y a aucun bruit extérieur, les propriétaires habitent au dessus mais on les entend peu. Le seul petit inconvénient est l'absence de plaque chauffante dans la cuisine, il y a néanmoins un micro ondes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits confortables. Nous avons eu quelques fourmis et avons appelé Marianna qui a réglé le problème immédiatement. Elle a également très agréablement accepté que nous laissions nos valises sur place le dernier journée jusqu'au milieu de l'après-midi. Pour se rendre à Manhattan, il faut prendre le bus au coin de la rue, nous n'avons jamais attendu en partant le matin entre 9 heures et 9 heures et 1/2. Au retour, il faut absolument privilégier les bus privés qui partent sur la 42th street devant le restaurant grec, le retour peut être un peu plus long en raison des encombrements dans le tunnel, ensuite il n'y a plus de problème de circulation. Le coût pour une journée aller retour pour 4 personnes est de 24 dollars (la ligne régulière est un peu moins chère). Le transport en bus lorsqu'on séjourne à North Bergen est un supplément de temps et de fatigue par rapport à une résidence dans Manhattan, mais l'économie de prix et le calme la nuit sont des réels avantages. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour à New-York et remercions Marianna pour son très agréable accueil et sa grande disponibilité
