All we can say is WOW! What an outstanding property. The view is fantastic and the peace & quiet unbelievable. The views from the patio are amazing, and we spent hours outside watching the sea and mountains.

Kenmare River Cottage 5a

  • 5 of 5

Excellent, well-appointed and very comfortable property. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It is a quiet location with tremendous views, free of all traffic noise and very peaceful - a perfect place to relax. The Beara Peninsula has some spectacular scenery and some terrible minor roads - beware! We would recommend this property to anyone and we will probably return in the future.

Fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

The view from the cottage to the Kenmare river is absolutely fantastic. With ever changing sun, clouds, rain and rainbows it is somehow different each hour. The location is well maintained, very tranquil and remote and that was what we have searched for. The description was very accurate and also late arrival at the first day wasn't a problem at all. We liked especially the scuba dive course in Kilmakilloge Harbour and having mussels in the O'Sullivan pub there is a must!

The house is a perfect spot if you want to visit both the rings of Kerry and Beara, the later much lesser crowded and for us the better choice.

Cottage was wonderful, best view in our many years of vacationing. It was extremely quiet and relaxing, yet only 15 minutes from Kenmare and shopping as well as many restaurant's.

Perfect location to explore the Beara, Kerry, and Dingle peninsula's.

Highly recommend this property.
