Enjoy a romantic waterfront cottage for two (2) on Smith Mountain Lake! Experience your private lakefront retreat and relax on our beautiful cedar dock for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and amazing Virginia sunsets.

The air conditioned cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and offers all the comforts of home in a gorgeous waterfront setting. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a twin bed. All towels, linens, and bedding are provided along with cable television, DVR and DVD player. High speed wifi is available and cellphones receive great 4G speeds. Outside, the cottage deck is setup for dining, relaxing, and BBQ grilling.

Swim, fish, boat, kayak, lounge and watch your cares float away. Experience a romantic retreat, couple's getaway, anniversary, birthday or honeymoon. No matter your interests, our cottage will provide the comfort, atmosphere, and ambience you need to unplug, unwind and relax from your busy life.

If you enjoy fishing the lake is known for striped and largemouth bass. Hire a fishing guide to target trophy striped bass. Three kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are also available for your use.

The owners (Jeff & Beth) live next door - and are generally around for assistance if you need anything. We provide our guests complete privacy.

Charming Smith Mountain Lake Cottage

Wonderful property. As identified, it is an intimate cottage with an outstanding view of the lake. The cottage is very well laid out with many amenities - most kitchen appliances you would want. Jeff and Beth were gracious hosts. My wife and I can't wait to go back.

About the host

Hosted by Jeff and Beth Turner

We are a happily married Christian couple of 30+ years with two adult children. Jeff is retired from a career as an engineer in the field of mapping and 3D visualization. Beth spent her early years in banking but is most credited for being available for our children as they grew up. Jeff is an avid fisherman (especially fly fishing - and once fished 50 states in 50 consecutive days with our son); loves boating; woodworking; college basketball & football; and hiking. He even hiked the 500 mile Camino de Santiago across Spain in 2014 and 110 mile Tour du Mont Blanc in the Alps in 2017. Beth loves decorating, being a wonderful hostess, and staying connected with family and friends.
