Fantastic beach holiday house in the heart of Barwon Heads. Enjoy the river beach, surf beach, shops, cafes and restaurants or simply chill on the deck. Just behind the main street, a couple of hundred metres to the beach, this Barwon Heads holiday house has been tastefully and fastidiously refurbished. Open-plan kitchen/dining/living room upstairs opens to beach facing deck and outdoor entertaining area. Everything you need for a fantastic week or weekend away on the beautiful Bellarine.

The Space:
Four bedrooms - Master Queen bedroom with ensuite upstairs, Two further Queen bedrooms and the fourth bedroom is a combined bedroom/second living area with four very comfortable King Single bunks.

Walking distance to all seaside activities and golf, as well as dining and shopping.

The Neighborhood:
Barwon Heads is a delightful coastal village located at the mouth of the Barwon River, 22 kilometres south-east of Geelong, and just across the river from its twin beachside town, Ocean Grove. Both are extremely popular coastal resorts offering beautiful beach holiday rentals, magnificent surf beaches on the doorstep of Bass Strait, safe family-friendly beaches along the river, unlimited sporting choices, and bustling town centres with every shopping and dining option you need.

A short car trip will deliver you to some of Victoria’s finest wineries and craft breweries, outstanding regional restaurants, the urban delights of Geelong, and the popular surfcoast towns of Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale, Torquay, Anglesea and Lorne – and, of course, the iconic Great Ocean Road.

Close to everything

Great stay at this place, was just 2 of us so we didn’t use any of the downstairs area, but it looks great for kids or teens. Upstairs was enjoyable, love the outdoor setting and master bedroom, just wish it had blockout blinds in addition to the plantation shutters. Really handy location close to everything and super clean and well catered for.

At Barwon Heads for a family wedding, Queenslanders and Victorians mainly.

The position was ideal for everything we did, wedding at The Heads, we would have been the closest guests to the venue! Our hosts were on Bridge st and Hitchcock St corner, once again ideal, IGA and restaurants so close. Barwon Heads is a beautiful place, my first visit there would have been 70 years or so ago, my uncle rented a house overlooking the estuary, it is still there a few houses from the corner, it has an attic on the top floor which now looks like it has been renovated.I could come back to Barwon anytime. Thank you. Penny

Terrible experience. Avoid!!

Huge amounts of construction literally 3 metres from living room and kitchen. Construction workers looking through our windows all of our 3 day stay. Huge crane lifting metal beams metres from us. Kids felt very uncomfortable. Contacted agent immediately and waited all day for response. Not relaxing and hugely overpriced for our experience. No reduction of price offered only a couple of nights mid week later in year which we have expressed we cannot do due to our limited ability to get back in the year. Told sorry for the ‘inconvenience’. Manager should have looked into this and told us prior to us arriving and we definitely would not have stayed. Seems like money is the driving factor for these guys. Avoid!!
