About Deb Streets
We live on the property and will be pleased to help you in any way we can. The land has been in the Streets family since 1948. Dave was born and raised on this land. I was born and raised 95 miles north of here. We are enjoying meeting the tenants as much as they are enjoying our little hide-a-way at the end of the Forest Service Road.
What makes this Cabin unique
For us this place is our little piece of Heaven. We are a short 6 miles out of town. It is so relaxing to come home at the end of the Forest Service Road and get away from the hustle, bustle, and noise of town. We can sit on the deck and watch deer, wild turkey, elk, and listen to many different birds.

Great stay for an adventure
The cabin is tiny but wonderfully tucked away in the middle of the park. Very peaceful and has everything you need to rest, cook and enjoy the beauty all around.
Wonderful experience in Custer.
This was great for our dogs. We enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness .
Perfect setting. Gracious and helpful hosts.
Perfect setting. Gracious hosts. Beautiful landscape. Great little cabin with beautiful outdoor fire ring and everything you need to be comfortable.
Staying at this cabin was a wonderful experience. It, literally, puts the Black Hills right out your back door. There are not enough words to describe how perfect the location was. There are wonderful views a short hike away from the cabin. There is no "city" noise to speak of. You are a short drive away from wonderful hiking trails in Custer State Park and Black Hills National Forest.
There was more than one occasion my wife and I found ourselves considering a move out to the country when we got back home. All because of the wonderful experience of being off the beaten path with Deb and Dave. Speaking of Deb and Dave, they were both wonderful hosts. They are right up the hill if you ever have any questions and are more than willing to talk about what the area has to offer.
This property is definitely worth it!!
Enjoyed the stay again
This was our third stay at this cabin. It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. A great central location for all the activities in the area. Will visit again particularly because of the friendliness of the owners!
We are centrally located to Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Custer State Park, The Needles, Crazy Horse, Harney Peak, and the Mickelson Trail just to name a few. The cabin is sitting in the middle of several good lakes that you can fish, boat, or swim in including Sylvan Lake, Bismarck Lake, Center, and Stockade Lakes. There is wonderful hiking from the door of the cabin. The Paha Sapa trail is a short walk from the cabin. For those of you that are interested in fossils, The Woolly Mammoth Dig is 45 miles away in Hot Springs.
