The minute you walk into this condo, you will be drawn to the large balcony where you can admire the magnificent shades of blue ocean, feel the sea breeze and listen to the waves crashing on the beautiful white sand, just steps away. That is in essence the beauty of our vacation home and we feel that you deserve the best as vacation is where you build the best memories. We are offering you a luxury home designed with elegance and comfort in mind.

It is the perfect place for a family or small group of friends wanting to share a home vacation in a beautiful location. Our condo is located on the third floor and features an open plan living, dining, kitchen area, and leads to the balcony which overlooks the pools, beach and ocean beyond. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. It has direct access to the balcony, and is angled in such a way that you can lay on your bed and look straight out at the ocean view! The 2nd bedroom (red room) has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds that can be brought together to form a comfortable king size bed and is adjacent to the hallway bathroom. You have access to an elevator.

Sapphire beach properties have over 370 feet of pristine beach front which forms part of the sought after Dover Beach, renowned for its white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. Located at the end of the St Lawrence Gap, you can easily walk to a great variety of restaurants, from Indian food, Chinese, Italian or Bajan. A couple of bars are within waling distance but far enough away so you won’t be bothered by them. Small grocery stores, banks, car rental, sports equipment rental and shopping is all within walking distance so many vacationers feel that they don’t need to rent a vehicle.

If you choose to discover the island and mingle with the locals there is a cheap and easy bus system that will allow you to learn more about this unique Caribbean island. You can also opt to book different tours and we can help you with that. Renting a car is also an option, but remember to take into account that Barbados used to be a British colony and they drive on the left. Taxis are also a good option and are cheap and plentiful.

With your safety being a priority, our property has 24hr security guards, monitored cameras throughout the site, monitored electric gate entrance, and an on-site private parking.

Sapphire Beach is a short 15 minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport (airport code BGI) while Bridgetown is a similar short drive .

We can invite friends and family and feel very safe and welcomed. Being in the south of Barbados, we can easily discover new beaches and mingle with the Bajans and feel like we're at home!

"This condo is amazingly well appointed and in a perfect location! From the moment you walk in the door, you can tell it is brand new. Everything is fresh and clean, and the décor is beautiful. The layout was perfectly spacious for us 6 adults, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean was splendid. The cupboards are very well stocked; everything you need to kick back and relax is at your fingertips. We have traveled to many islands and exotic places around the world, and so far, this is the best overall location we have ever been to. The beach is so pristine with the white sand beach. You can snorkel with the sea turtles right out your front door. We would generally hang out at the beach in the morning, head to the pool in afternoon with a cocktail, and then bbq on the beach again at sunset. It was absolute bliss! The condo is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, but with enough going on around you that you truly feel the warm hospitality of the locals. The bus stop is only 2 blocks away, and you can get virtually anywhere for a dollar or two. If you want to tour the island, there is a car rental agency just across the street. There are several shops and restaurants within easy walking distance too. This was a perfect holiday and I can’t wait to go back!"



"It is true. There is no place like home, however, I must say that being a first time visitor to Barbados, I found this condo to be as comfortable as my home! There is nothing missing in and around this condo. Your are within a 2 minute walk to a quick food store for necessities. And a quick 10 minute bus ride for the big grocery store. I would not hesitate to take the bus during the day alone.



This condo is so well situated within walking distant to restaurants,bars, clubs, and wonderful shopping areas. I spent 9 days here and missed nothing. Great TV, music system and internet connected me to my family back home.



I went to their recommended restaurant

Champers. All I can say is OMG and Wow!!! Amazing food, service and local arts upstairs. Which I bought most of my take home gifts.



There is also a wonderful little cafe style restaurant across the street called BLISS. Highly recommend this for breakfast and lunch.



If there is a special occasion, then Bliss will certainly make you a wonderful cake for it.



I must not forget that this condo sits right on the beach. Truly a walk across the pool area and Voila!! you are at the beach. Rent a chair and leave your stuff. I had no problems, no vendors selling stuff and bothering you.

We can provide a small portable crib for a child less than 2 years old at no extra charge. Every room has its own large TV (some smart TV) Each room has its own safe, an additional one in the laundry room. Very well equipped gym in the Sapphire complex. If you would like additional services such as babysitting, on-site massages, chef or grocery pre-stocking... let us know so that we can help you with your plans. Those service are offered at an extra cost. Outside: On the beach side, set in a beautiful tropical garden, you have access to two 80 foot long kidney shape pools. This is ideal for doing laps. A small bridge allows you to cross over and walk towards the beach. This whole area is secure as you need a key to enter the complex from the beach and from the front of the building. Once on the beach, you can rent chairs and umbrella for a reasonable price. Utility Room: Separate room with large washer and dryer and large sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid

Superb Apartment

Just returned from Barbados where we stayed in a fantastic apartment at Sapphire Beach at St Lawrence Gap.

The apartment was well maintained and managed and it was clear that the owner had taken considerable effort to make it as perfect as possible.

We were literally just off the beach so every morning , after breakfast which we had on the balcony, we went down to the beach.

After lunch we usually had a dip in the pool to cool down.

The apartment was ideally situated for us to enjoy all of the sights of the Island including the many fantastic restaurants.

The weather was fantastic and nothing better than sitting on the beach with a very cold beer or a rum punch or cocktail.!

Life does not get any better....for sure.

Cannot wait to return again.

Well equipped and beautiful decor

This unit suited our needs so very well.. we appreciated the elegant decor, and how well the cupboards were stocked with a variety of kitchen tools and utensils. Very spacious rooms and ensuites with magnificent breezes that come in from the patio. We loved being on the second floor.. as it felt like only just a few steps up and down without having to use the elevator.

We were aware in advance of the seaweed issues.. but having a vehicle allowed us ample opportunities to explore elsewhere. We had stayed on the island before, so always enjoy a tour around the perimeter... oistens is fun at different times of the day for different reasons.. fun to chat with locals. All in all.. a perfect week.

Lovely Condo, Great Location

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely Condominium. Everyone we worked with from rental to our actual stay were so helpful. The start up groceries were much appreciated. The layout was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need. Close to area restaurants (our personal favorite Bliss) shopping and buses. The beach was lovely, seaweed or not. Really enjoyed the balcony.

Wonderful condo in a great location

I can’t imagine a more relaxing location. Well equipped, delightful views and so close to the beach. There was some seaweed on the beach during our stay. But 20 bds gets you to Carlisle bay. Sylvie can’t really control the tides :). Would definitely stay here again.

PS bring your own snorkel and mask to avoid scrambling around

The Best

I had the best time in Barbados and the Condo was everything and more. The service was amazing from the welcome basket to Kiana meeting us and giving the overview of the place. The view from the balcony is incredible and I could sit out there for hours just listening to the waves. Prior to our trip Sylvie made sure we had all the information we needed and was super helpful even when I had additional questions. I will definitely be back and stay at this Condo every single time. It was super clean and it’s in a prime location where you can walk to many things.

Beautiful Property

Everything under Sylvie's control was spectacular. The unit was nicer than the pictures indicate. The welcome basket was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The orientation tour of the condo was spot on and we knew how everything operated within minutes.The pool was nice and the location was great with many restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. We felt safe in the neighborhood and cabs were readily available right in front of the complex. Unfortunately, we had two significant issues during our vacation. First, the beach and water were unusable due to large amounts of seaweed for our entire 10 day stay. We had to drive 15 minutes up to Carlisle Bay to find a usable beach. Second, there was a lot of work going on at he complex all week. It started with pounding of scaffolding, continued with sawing of stone at the pool one day and continued with painting all week. Very inconvenient.

Our Sapphire Beach Condo sits on Dover Beach which is one of the longer and wider white sand beaches found on the island and has mostly calm waters and is safe for swimming year-round. For the safety of locals and visitors alike there is a daily lifeguard presence as can be identified by the yellow lifeguard hut found there and on many of the other popular swimming beaches. Because of its beauty and popularity, Dover Beach hosts a wide range of both water sport and other beach rental service providers such as SunFish and catamaran sailing, boogie board, snorkel, beach lounges and umbrella rentals to name a few. Just opposite the beach is a playing field where you can enjoy an occasional game of cricket, soccer or basketball.

The property is located a short 15-minute drive from the airport in the south east and also from the main city Bridgetown (good choice for duty free shopping) in the south west. Barbados is a mostly flat coral island of only 21 by 14 miles (166 square miles) so getting anywhere is a short drive by comparison to most other travel destinations. As a mature holiday destination, the islands infrastructure such as road and road signage are also well developed.

Barbados is known for being safe and for the friendliness of its people so getting around and seeing the sights is recommended and locals will be happy to offer directions should you lose your way. Aside from renting a car, visitors can utilize the available public transportation of Government operated Mercedes coaches or the smaller privately owned buses and vans which can take you anywhere for no more than US$1.00 per trip. Bus stops are located along almost every road and in the case of Sapphire Beach are no more than a five minute walk away.

As we are very near the St-Lawrence Gap, there are a wide selection of restaurants within easy walking distance as well as bars, nightclubs and gift shops. Small grocery stores and an ATM are within walking distance as well. Having a car is not necessary but if you want to rent one, a parking spot is available for you in the complex (within the secure area).

Oistins, an outdoors location just a 10 minute drive away, is famous for fresh local seafood (Fish Fry) prepared as you watch. With great bars, music and gift shopping it is popular with locals and visitors alike. North, along the coast, you will find Speightstown and Holetown which boast a long and intriguing history. The scenery around the Crane area is spectacular. The island offers many activities from submarine and coastal catamaran trips to cave and historic plantation tours. There is also a wildlife reserve and nature tours such as the Welchman Hall Gully. For indoor shopping, movies and a great food court, there is the Sheraton Mall (2.6 km from Sapphire). Feel free to ask us for recommendations based on your preferences such as coach tours or more active ones such as the Zip Line adventures where you glide safely in a harness over one of the most scenic natural gullies on the island.

The fringes and reefs found off Barbados blossom with healthy sponges, coral and plant life. There are several types of reefs, each one unique in its own special way.

Rates are based on 6 people occupancy. Add 25$ US per night for each additional person when more than 6 persons.

Cancellations must be done in writing. Deposit is non refundable. If the cancellation is notified 60 or less days prior to arrival date, no refund will be given.

We require a damage deposit of US$500 which will get refunded accordingly normally 7 days after departure.

We do recommend buying travel insurance covering trip cancellation. Some credit card companies offer travel insurance. You may want to look into that prior to booking.
