This ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms is a great value! Recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms with new cabinets, granite counters, walk in shower in Master, tile flooring throughout. New furniture master bedroom, new mattresses in both bedrooms, 2 lanais: off the living room and bedroom. Stay in and enjoy your own prepared meals in the efficient and fully stocked kitchen kitchen or you can take a short 2 minute walk and be served at the many restaurants that are right down the street!
Enjoy the amenities at Banyan Harbor:
Heated salt water swimming pool with ocean view, tennis/pickleball court, shuffleboard, BBQ pavilion, and activities desk.
This condo has a level entry so groceries, suitcases, and all your bags of souvenirs do not have to be hauled up and down stairs! There is free parking in unmarked stalls.

KALAPAKI BEACH REVIEW
Five minutes south of the airport in Lihue, you'll find this wide, sandy-bottom beach fronting the Kauai Marriott. This beach is almost always safe from rip currents and undertows because it's around the backside of a peninsula, in its own cove. There are tons of activities here, including all the usual water sports—beginning and intermediate surfing, bodyboarding, bodysurfing, and swimming—plus, there are two outrigger canoe clubs paddling in the bay and the Nawiliwili Yacht Club's boats sailing around the harbor. Kalapaki is the only place on Kauai where sailboats—in this case Hobie Cats—are available for rent (at Kauai Beach Boys, which fronts the beach next to Duke's Canoe Club restaurant). Visitors can also rent snorkel gear, surfboards, bodyboards, and kayaks from Kauai Beach Boys. A volleyball court on the beach is often used by a loosely organized group of local players; visitors are always welcome. Families prefer the stream end of the beach, whereas those seeking more solitude will prefer the cliff side of the beach. Duke's Canoe Club restaurant is one of only a couple of restaurants on the island actually on a beach; the restaurant's lower level is casual, even welcoming beach attire and sandy feet, perfect for lunch or an afternoon cocktail. Disappointing

Our family 2A/2C stayed here for 7 nights. We found the unit to be presented clean. The bathrooms and kitchen and overall decor is very dated. The shower curtain in the second bathroom had mould over it and the bathroom had a roach problem. The lanai furniture was tired and dirty. The unit was very noisy, especially in the morning from road and occasional plane traffic. I had to chase up the reutrn of our deposit. We won't be staying here again.

We had an enjoyable 9 day stay. Lost a day due to airline issues. Our condo was very clean but we had several electrical issues. None interfered significantly with our stay though.

Centrally Located

This condo is located next to great shopping and LiLikoi just down the road had excellent food. The condo is clean supplied with necessities to get started with a grocery store located about a mile away to pick up other food items need for the visit. The beach is only a 5 minute walk that we hit daily. The wagon their made it easy to lug our stuff down. Diane was super easy to work with on booking and changes we made. She has a binder with fun activities with contact information. We liked that for all excursions we went to the longest was 30 minutes with the rest being 10-15 minutes with the airport only 5 minutes away. The only thing we would have liked better was newer cooking pots and pans.

Perfect place for family stay

I took my 12yo son to a week long vacation trip right after New Year holidays. We had a perfect time and returned home refreshed and full of energy. The condo is clean, well equipped and comfortable, has a nice backyard. Walking access to beach, convenientce store, food restaurants. Diane is a great host showing true care about her guests. We hope to visit Kauai and stay there again some day.
