I loved the property and would definitely stay here again!

  • 5 of 5

The peoperty is spacious, clean, and organized. It is such a cozy and private cabin, it really did feel like home! It had everything I needed during my stay with regards to appliances, furniture, utensils. The few minute walk to the beach is a plus. David and Carol are great hosts, they give you your space but at the same time they are always available for any questions you have or help you might need. Their response time is great, they really care for their guests, and they give you awesome suggestions of restaurants to visit or activities to do while at Narragansett if you are new to the area. Lovely cabin, would definitely rent from them again!

Cute and clean and location location location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and 2 kids (age 5&8) stayed in the cabin end of August. We were looking for a location by the beach and also near enough to Newport and Boston to allow for day trips and the ferry to Block island should be on the "must do" list when staying in the area. Dave and Carol's cute little cabin was perfect for our family end-of-summer getaway and talk about CLEAN! Honestly, the cleanest rental I have ever been in and Dave and Carol were wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed but also provided us with our privacy. Bonnet shores is a lovely community and Kelly beach is fantastic.

Pristine, Delightful Cabin - Relaxing Stay

  • 5 of 5

This pristine cabin and the surrounding neighborhood are absolutely lovely. Every aspect of the cabin seems perfectly designed and of the utmost quality, from the loft that the kids squealed with excitement about, to the large, perfectly cleaned windows that let you drink in the outdoors (beautiful hydrangeas and wooded surroundings) from inside the cabin. The beds were new and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower. The charming and thoughtful hosts were available next door should any problem arise.

The closest beach (10 minute walk), Bonnet Shores beach was perfect for kids. It’s in a large cove, protected from the open ocean. The slope into the water is gradual, so the kids can go out and enjoy the manageable waves on boogie boards and with much safer conditions than at the open ocean beaches.

We went kayaking with the kids a few miles away (rentals at Narrow River Kayaks), which ended up being the kids’ favorite part of the trip besides the loft and the beach! Brickley’s Ice Cream was also a big hit. The cabin is so nice that one day we just chilled out reading and playing games all day! Thank you, Carol and David, for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely LOVED Our Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

My mom, sister and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin is located in a quiet area but close to everything. Carol and David were lovely and very accommodating. Carol was sweet enough to give us a tour of the area. We hope to make this an annual event.

Beautifully maintained, clean, comfortable and cozy

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The owners are responsive, friendly and accommodating. It was great to have beach chairs, towels and bikes available for our ocean visits and a fully stocked kitchen for in-house meals. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and convenient stay in Narragansett.

The best rental yet!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I are very familiar with VRBO as this was our 6th time renting. By far, this was the best experience we had with the property exceeding our expectations and the fondness we developed for the owners. Traveling with 2 teenage girls, this cabin provided us with privacy and just enough room to space out but still feel like we were on vacation together. The cabin had everything you could think of to make meal prep (and baking) easy. We enjoy cooking together on vacations and did so, even used the gas grill on the patio. The washer and dryer also allowed us to pack light and do our laundry before going home! The cabin is decorated beautifully and clean to my standards which are extremely high. We have rented other places only to clean before we unpack!

You are very secluded with only Dave and Carol as neighbors. They are most gracious and available for any questions you may have. We enjoyed their company over wine one of our evenings, and found they are truly fascinating people.

The beach is a 10 min walk or 5 min drive. There is no parking at the beach so my husband would drop us off with our gear, park the car at the cabin and walk down. Other days we rode bikes. Dave has 2 for use and we brought 2 of our own. Newport is about 40 mins or so, and we spent 2 days there exploring the mansions which was our main reason for visiting the area. We also went on a foodie tour and sampled local bites at several restaurants as well as learned Newport history. Another day we spent in Mystic, CT which was only about a 30 min drive. We absolutely would recommend this property for people who love to travel rather than take "vacations". You won't be disappointed
