House Arnolfo is located right in the heart of Florence, you see" Piazza della Signoria" from the windows. The Uffizi Gallery is 50 meters away and within a few minutes walkink you get to the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and all the most important monuments of the town.
The apartment is on the third floor of an old building,it has an elevator and all the amenities including a professional air conditioning system.
Arnolfhouse was completely restored in 2007 and has all the accessories, satellite TV, wireless Internet access throughout the apartment. The house consists of 4 rooms with 9 comfortable beds + a very comfortable two-seater sofa bed, two bathrooms and a large living room.
It is located right in the heart of the historic city and is surrounded by buildings and monuments. Living here is like going back to the times of the Renaissance. Nearby are major shopping areas with shops of jewelers and all the major Italian designers. Excellent restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine are within walking distance.

Brilliant Florence stay

We arrived and were met promptly by the wonderful Neil even after a late change in plans. The apartment exceeded expectations - beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, great spacious areas, amazing kitchen facilities, a place we would love to have been able to spend longer than our planned two days. The position is exceptional - no more than a 15 minute walk to any of the beautiful sites of Florence, and looking out our window we looked straight onto Piazza Vecchio - and the beautiful square. Coffe, shopping and history our door!

Mixed Feelings...

This is a very difficult review for me to write. There are many positives here, but also – for us – a very big negative, so that we would not return here. Two couples stayed here a week this October. The photos and description on the website are entirely accurate. The really big problem for our group was the noise on the street at night. One of us slept like a baby regardless, but three of us are light sleepers, and what with party goers shouting and singing at midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am and then the market stalls getting dragged through the street at 5am and 6am - we were completely exhausted at the end of a week's stay and looking forward to some peace and quiet at the airport hotel in Milan. During my stay I discussed various issues with Gianni, and he was cooperative in assessing the situation. There is triple glazing in the windows, but the noise affected us regardless. Obviously, there is little Gianni can do about revellers on the street. Apart from this one big problem - there are definitely some positives also. Location is superb, can't beat it (hence the noise!!). The apartment is large enough, could easily accommodate a group of 8. Furnishings, appliances, equipment are adequate. Easy to deal with Gianni and Neil prior to arrival, and Neil was there to show us around at the appointed time. So all good on that front. There were a few minor maintenance issues that I raised with Gianni, and he was very responsive, arranged to sort them out quickly. So if you want to be right in the thick of it, and you're a heavy sleeper - or you plan to stay out until 4 in the morning yourself - this might be a good place to stay. While I don't want to be too negative, for us this was just the wrong place.

Magnificent place and location!

This four bedroom property was absolutely terrific! Perfect location while visiting Florence. Literally steps away from wonderful restaurants, gelato, breakfast places, and so many historical sites! The beds were all extremely comfortable and you were even able to look out the window and see the statue of David! The owner was extremely responsive to all questions and had someone meet us at the property to show us around. This is the place we will stay anytime we visit Florence! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us!

Very spacious apartment in an absolutely perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The place very clean and large enough for our family of 8. Check in and communication with the host was amazing. The location is prefect to visit mostly all the main sites in Florence on foot. The view out or window of the piazza was amazing and really added to our stay. I would 100% recommend this apartment

Location, Location, Location!!!

We absolutely loved staying in this apartment. We were steps away from all of the best shopping, museums, and restaurants. This is a prime location for you to stay. Host was great, very responsive and the home was spacious and clean. We would definitely stay again. Florence was wonderful and again we were right in the mis of it all. We could not have booked a better place to stay. So worth it!

I bought this house in 2007 to go and live there when I'll stop working in a few years in the meantime I rent it. I am very happy to do it because I have the opportunity to contact people from all over the world. And I like to think that they also prove the same emotion that I felt when I looked out from the windows seeing "Della SignnorIa square"

What makes this property unique

Here you live Florence in his heart. You are 50 meters from the 'Uffizi gallery' museum, 100 from the cathedral and a few minutes walk from the major monuments and museums. The area is one of the oldest and most famous jewelry shops. There are still goldsmiths, one right next door to the apartment
