Fall and winter are gorgeous in Log Home in Bucks County!
About Chuck Finch
I live in downtown Philadelphia in a 4 story townhouse built in 1803. I grew up in a family that developed property for over 100 years, so my love of interesting architecture and restoring houses is in my blood.
Chuck Finch purchased this House in 2012
Why Chuck Finch chose Upper Black Eddy
There is no type of property that offers such a distinctly warm and welcoming appeal as a log home. By updating the house without making it too contemporary, I think that Raspberry Hill has a unique combination of sophistication and rustic charm.
What makes this House unique
The outdoor property is very private and quite beautiful. Although a cozy log house, all of the technology and luxury you could ever want is available.

This property is exactly as listed, serene, gorgeous, homey, and lovely. Myself and 6 over tired, over worked women came for a getaway from the rat race and we had a lovely time. Chuck is an amazing host and we loved this house. Thank you!!!
Great property! Met our large family needs. Owner was super helpful and responsive.
Wonderful rustic and rural
Our stay at this property was fantastic. The directions for check in were well written and accurate. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a downstairs bedroom with a private bathroom and private sitting room. For our stay there were 2 upstairs bedrooms and a bathroom with a claw foot tub and shower stall.
Our party consisted of 5 adults. It would be easy to add several children. There are several places to have people sleep if you are not concerned about privacy. There is a separate apartment that is also available when you rent this property that has a small kitchen, bedroom and sitting room.
There is a Grocery store within a few miles.
We are considering renting this property again next year. I GREAT place to 'get away from it all'. Chuck is very quick to answer questions, both before you rent and after you arrive.
His attention to detail helped make our stay special. Thank you Chuck for helping us have a fantastic relaxing weekend.
just what we were hoping for
The house is very warm and inviting, with a ton of personality. There are knick-knacks and antiques everywhere, which makes it feel more like a friend's home than a rental property. There is plenty of space, and the outdoor accommodations are terrific, great for large groups to congregate. All-in-all, it was a great experience, and the owner was very helpful and accessible.
Couldn’t have been better
Incredible, better than pictures
Lehigh graduation weekend
Our large family stayed together in this gorgeous home as we celebrated our daughter’s college graduation from Lehigh University. We enjoyed the peaceful cabin setting that proved to be exceptionally comfortable. We all enjoyed the meticulously detailed decor, and warmth of this home. Everything was precisely as detailed in the property listing, with several additional wonderful surprises. Hope to have a reason to return!! Thank you, Chuck!
Nestled on several acres of landscaped property, and surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland and fields, your only neighbors are 2 horses and a red barn. Not visible from the road, the house is completely private, but minutes from wonderful antique stores, restaurants and state parks.
