Peaceful, Easy, Comfortable
A wonderful place to observe nature, beautiful sunsets and an easy drive to Copper Harbor and other beautiful sites. The owner Brian is easy to communicate with and always accessable. We had a terrific stay and I highly recommend this sweet and comfortable cabin.

Great Getaway
Wonderful relaxing private spot. Views from cabin and grounds are spectacular. Brian is a great host and a fantastic fishing captain. One of the best stays we’ve had on the UP.

Peaceful Getaway
Our stay at the Keystone Cottage was exactly what our family needed. The property is so peaceful! I couldn’t get over how quiet it was. The only sounds came from nature and the occasional boat passing by. We had a spectacular view of the blue moon during our stay. It lit up the sky so brightly! The lake looked like ice. We were in the area for Trails Fest 2023. The property is a short 20-25 minute drive into Copper Harbor. Brian was very attentive and a great host. If you’re looking to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, add this property to your list for consideration.

Host profile image
My personality profile says I'm an Eagle. I'm an entrepreneur, dad of many, grandfather, author of the book "How to Raise a Happy Family " and charter boat captain. I love to fish and love to see others have a good time fishing. Winters are spent snowboarding with kids and cross-country skiing, some ice fishing and vacationing. My wife and I own and run a print shop, which is up for sale now, as we'd like to retire from that part of our lives.

Why they chose this property

My family has had property on Sand Point Road nearly all my life, so I spent ALL my growing up summers here. I had my sights on this property long before it came up for sale in 2013 in order to base my charter business from here, and immediately made an offer that was accepted. It's a really nice spot - one of the nicest on beautiful Lac La Belle and with deep water close to shore, it serves well to dock a large boat here.

What makes this property unique

The perfect place to unwind: No TV or internet. A grand view of the lake where you see wildlife, sparkling water, boats and BOTH the sun-rise and sunset.
