Lone Pine wonderland
Property so amazing. 50 quail running here and there and snacking on porch seed. Cozy, cozy, cozy. Alabama hills right outside the doors. Sky at night, so many stars.

Wonderful place, beautiful views!
This is a wonderful home in all respects. The views are spectacular. I have never stayed in a rental with a kitchen that was as well stocked as well as the bathrooms. There were DVD's, games and records to play. The game room down stairs was fun. The beds were comfy with a deck off each one. We will be back.

Used this property as a base camp for Mt.Langely, then a day trip up Mt. Whitney. This property is absolutely stunning, and could not be in a better location to explore the Whitney Area or Death Valley. I didn't realize that houses were actuallly IN the Alabama Hills like this. Can't see hnow you could regret this place

Diana and I live in Burbank, CA full time where we have full time jobs in the arts and education. Diana likes to run marathons while I like ice cream. We are planning to hike Mt Whitney this September and are currently hiking local mountains around the LA Basin to prepare.

Why they chose this property

My family owned a neighboring piece of property when this house came to the market. We loved this property as soon as we walked on it, the views alone sold us and the house was just an added bonus.

What makes this property unique

We were married here in 1999 marked by a bench that overlooks the Owens Valley. Our son loves the wide open spaces with rocks to climb and places to explore. We like to camp under the stars while the crickets sing down at Caspers Cove. Its just a fun place to come and chill or use as a base camp for your adventures.
