Yellowstone getaway
The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was an hour drive to get to yellowstone or grand teton but worth the driving to see wildlife. We saw a moose across the street from the house one morning. Great stay.

Wonderful Stay!
My nephew met me out here to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton. This cabin was everything we wanted and then some. It was so quiet and peaceful. I loved having the doors and windows open to have the fresh breeze flow through. The coolest part was the momma and baby moose who hang out on the property! I also saw several deer on the property. Just perfect! We visited Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Craters of the Moon National Monument, a couple state parks, and just went on country drives. I recommend the short drive to Mesa Falls and Cave Falls as well. If I ever find myself back in the area, I’ll be looking to rent this cabin. I miss it already. Thanks so much!!!

Quite and cozy
Comfortable, attractive and roomy. Only one complaint. The Wi-Fi is weak and doesn’t reach the front porch

About the host

We both were born and raised and grew up in this wonderful area. Our children were born here and this is where our heart is. We moved to California when our children were small for work and always vowed to return. We would visit frequently and stay with family or in this beautiful cabin. When the cabin became available to purchase we were so excited. We now can come and stay when we want and our children and grandchildren can enjoy it and this beautiful area for ever. It is truly a hide away and very much enjoyed by all.

Why they chose this property

Sleep in the shadow of the Grand Tetons, near Yellowstone and within an 'stones throw' of some of the greatest fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling in the world. This is great quiet location, perfect to escape from it all. We are near some of the greatest fishing in the world; Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Warm River, and Fall River.

What makes this property unique

Spring and Summer you have the greatest place to hike - the back end of Yellowstone National park that provides multiple hiking trails. You can hike from the southwest end of the park, which is only 14 miles from the cabin, into Yellowstone's Old Faithful. Plus World renown flying fishing only minutes away. A maintained bike trail from Ashton to West Yellowstone provides you the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful area. Winter, some of the greatest snowmobiling and X-country skiing in the world. It is truly a winter wonderland!!
