"29 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY" After months searching for the perfect beach getaway, we discovered a Madeira Beach gulf front gem, then improved it with state-of-the-art upgrades. The result: A sun-filled, beach-front condo with 180 degree Gulf of Mexico views from our seventh-floor wrap around balconies off the living room and master suite. Sunsets take your breath away, and the sound of the surf on beach just below remind you why you’re on vacation. Ours is an open floor plan with modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a large den with a sleeper sofa, in-unit full size washer/dryer and wireless broadband. A private pool and spa are on the Gulf-view patio downstairs, along with a BBQ grill and picnic tables. A short stroll takes you to a grocery store, pharmacy, bars and restaurants and shops galore. Hop on the beach trolley, and access to everything the Gulf Beaches offer are within reach without every getting in a car. Assigned, covered parking is part of the deal.

Why Wes McLeod chose Madeira Beach

My wife and I searched for the perfect beach get away for not only ourselves, but for family and friends. After several months of searching and viewing condos from Clearwater to St Pete Beach, we found this gem. We completely updated the condo in 2013; we added all new windows and sliding glass doors, new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, new floors, paint, new window treatments, new ceiling fans, 3 flat screen TVs, new marble and cabinets for the bathrooms. It turned out better than we could of imagined and I am sure you will agree.

What makes this condo unique

The beach is steps away. You do not need to walk a long way from the building to the water. The pool area offers chairs, bathrooms, and shower for your convenience.

The wrap-around balcony offers western, southern, and northern views. Amenities such as restaurants, beach bars, pharmacies, medical facilities, groceries are all short walks away. You may never need your car as the local trolley stops out front of the building and will transport you anywhere from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete beach and all stops in between

Dream Vacation

If you want a dream vacation Wes and Diane's condo is the place to be. Its perfect in every respect. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The condo was immaculate and had everything you could want or need and all was first class. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with any appliance you would ever need. We enjoyed the high speed internet and they even furnished a HP printer that we used to printed out our boarding passes. The wrap around balcony offers a view of the most amazing sunsets. The outdoor furniture was top of the line and very comfortable. We spent many hours on the balcony sunbathing and watching dolphins, sea birds and sunsets plus walking on the white sand beach. We ate most of our meals out and there was no limit to the wonderful nearby restaurants. The condo is convenient to anything you might need. If you are interested in cultural events nearby St Pete offers museums, even a Dali Museum, theaters, and other events.

There are many activities offered right on the beach. One of our favorites was parasailing out of St Johns Pass with Gator's Parasailing. There also churches of your choice near by.

We feel especially blessed to have met Wes and Diane, two special people, and God willing we hope to return next year.

Better every year!

This was our 5th year to stay in Wes and Diane’s condo and we hope to return next year! Even though the weather was cool this year, we had a wonderful time. The location is excellent - beautiful view of the Gulf from the balcony where afternoons are warm and sunny even on cool days. It’s a short walk to a grocery store, drug store, Wednesday morning market, and more. It’s a short drive to restaurants and shopping along Gulf Blvd. St Petersburg is close by if you want to take in a movie, Museum or other more urban activities. Of course, the main attraction is the white sandy beach right outside your door. Some in our group walked or biked on the beach everyday. Some enjoyed the hot tub or laying around the pool. Others enjoyed reading or afternoon naps on the balcony. There is something for everybody. Wes and Diane take great pride in their unit and each year we are pleasantly surprised at the improvements and additions they make. Already looking forward to next year!

Perfect balance of beach access and walkable to shops, restaurants, and attactions

This spacious, gorgeous condo is in a prime location. The condo is beauifully updated with room to spread out comfortably and spectucular views from all living spaces and the master. The wrap-around porch is the perfect spot for a glass of wine as you take in the sunset. Direct beach access and an onsite inground pool and hot tub round out the ammenties. In addition to its beauty, this condo is convenient to local shops, restaurants, and attractions—from the minigolf across the street to Johns Pass shops and restaurants a couple of miles away. (You can even walk to the Winn Dixie or Publix in less than 5 minutes by car.) The high-speed wifi (not spotty like a lot of beach retreats) makes it possible to keep up with work or skip work all together and keep social media buzzing with your great getaway photos. Fun and relaxing

Thank you Wes and Diane for the excellent hospitality. You are such good people, made us feel welcomed the entire month.

The condo is beautiful throughout and well stocked with everything you could need including all beach essentials. The BBQ was a plus and very convenient. The description of condo and all amenities was bang on .Plan on returning next May/18.

Paradise in Madiera Beach

This was our second stay at Wes & Diane's condo and as before everything was perfect. From the moment we meet Wes at the condo till the day we leave it is like paradise. The condo is spotless & so very well stocked I joke if it is not there you don't need it. The view from the wraparound balcony is awesome and the sunsets are almost as nice as on PEI lol We could not ask for more genial hosts, a more spacious quiet condo or anything else. We relax and enjoy every minute and are sad to leave. We look forward to many many years in paradise aka Wes & Diane's beautiful condo, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.Just noticed the guidelines. Yes the listing was accurate and the condo was wven nicer than a photo can capture. Wes & Diane offer superb customer service and are just a quick phone call away if needed.Yes I wouls postively recommend this propert to our family and friend. The Brown Boxer Pub is a short walk from the condo Also Win Dixie and a dollar store are an easy walk. John's Pass is a short drive up the street. Great shopping is only a short drive away. What more can I say it is the best spot to relax in Madiera Beach. Already looking forward to next year.
