Family get away

The place was beautiful. We enjoyed our visit. More than enough room for everyone. The only issues we had were dishes were put away dirty stacked under dirty ones . We washed them . Beer cans and water bottles were found under the couch . The fan above the stove has bugs in the grease . We clean the grill it was really bad.

Not Happy At All

Check in was 4. We drove by at 3:45 and there were 2 men working outside on ladders. We drove around the lake and came back at 4:30. Still working. They were hired to install windows this weekend. When we said we rented this house for the weekend they called the owner and started cleaning up and let us in the house. We unpacked 4 vehicles during a torrential rain fall. Put all of our groceries in the fridge and upacked everything. Then the owner showed up. Apparently her house wasn't to be rented out this weekend. I explained we were here to celebrate my 50th birthday and we rented this house back in June. She left the house and went to the Taylor Made rental office. About half an hour later I recieved a call that we had to pack up and leave the property and they sent us to a second property. 45 minutes later we arrived at the second property and the owner of that home was staying there that weekend. We called and complained and were sent to a third property. By the time we arrived it was now almost 8 pm. The first 4 hrs of our weekend getaway were horrible due to poor planning and/or miscommunication with the owner and rental agency. I will never book throuhh VRBO again.

Perfect large group property

Great location on Deep Creek Lake. Dock is perfect for swimming and fishing and docking the boat we rented. Close enough to shopping and restaurants and great hikes.

Moms weekend!

It was the perfect little get away for us moms for a long weekend! We loved the fire place and all being able to sit around and chat together. It’s winter so didn’t get to use the dock/lake but the hot tub was key for relaxing. Also liked that the resort wasn’t too far for activities and took advantage of the quietness away from the hustle and bustle.

Nice cottage

Beautiful place to relax, and enjoy a quiet time with friends and family. The cottage is spacious, well equipped with cooking utensils and beautiful large fire place. Family/dinning area is large with nice windows facing a deck outside. Hot tub is very nice. Lake is down the hill crossing the street. Highly recommended.
