Kelly Cottage - A local Hollywood story

This beautifully restored 1922 cottage was relocated 2016 from Terralong Street Kiama to its current location overlooking stunning Jamberoo valley, Saddleback Mountain and Jerrara Falls. Built by Mr and Mrs W Kelly, whose son George Orry Kelly put Kiama on the map when he won 3 Oscar Academy awards for movie costume design, the cottage retains many of its beautiful original features such as the polished floorboards and ornate ceilings. The walls display some examples of Orry's costume designs for Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis and Tony Curtis while the DVD and memoir "Women I've Undressed- The Fabulous Life and Times of a Legendary Hollywood Designer" are available to enjoy during your stay.
The cottage is on a working farm in a beautiful rural setting with plenty to see and do either locally or in the towns of Kiama or Jamberoo (each only 5 mins drive away).

Stunning location, gorgeous cottage

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It has so much character and we sat out on the seats on the verandah for hours looking at the view. The location is stunning! Cate was so helpful and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was very fast. She took us for a buggy ride around the farm to visit the cattle and horses. I’d definitely stay again. Thanks Cate and Neil!

A little piece of heaven..

We loved our stay! Such a gorgeous house and so beautifully decorated. It has everything you need, plus amazing views and walks. Absolute heaven.

We stayed here for a wedding. The accom was absolutely perfect and the morning views on to the hill sides was amazing. Would stay again.

Lovely escape

Best of both worlds, a beautiful country getaway with beach minutes away. Lovely hosts too who took us on a tour of the farm. Note: if traveling with young ones: bring a high chair

Absolutely gorgeous getaway

This place is just fabulous. So much care and attention to detail has been taken and only 5 minutes into Kiama. I am so very glad I booked here and I can't wait to come back again. The only small issue is that the washer/dryer combo, we believe after extensive googling is a washer only and not a dryer. If it is a washer/dryer combo then some instructions would be fabulous. But hey, there's a clothesline so no harm done.
