Spectacular mountaintop views yet close to everything

  • 5 of 5

My wife and three kids enjoyed spring break in the Mountaintop chalet. The house came completely as advertised, fully equipped for a great vacation. We all enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, indoor waterfall and, of course, the fantastic views. The kitchen was fully equipped - even a fully stocked spice rack, cooking oil and coffee were provided! We were also pleasantly surprised with the master bedroom fireplace, which was very cozy.

Also as advertised, an all-wheel drive vehicle is absolutely required to traverse the driveway up the mountain. Nonetheless, our Explorer handled it without any difficulty. The house is in the town of Conception, which is centrally located to both skiing at Mont Tremblant (15 minutes) and the Village of Mont Tremblant ( < 10 minutes), which has many excellent restaurants and shopping. We had excellent skiing during the day, enjoying the view from the hot tub after skiing and, then, off to town for dinner in the evening. Great access to all!

On the one day we did not ski, my wife and I took a short hike to one of the lakes on the property. It was absolutely beautiful, in spite of it still being partially frozen. We had it all to ourselves and could only imagine how nice it must be in the summer months to swim and have a bonfire!

Lastly, both the owners and the property manager were excellent. They were very responsive and helpful in answering our questions and making recommendations for leisure activities.

This is an immaculate house in a very special location. It would be great to travel to Mont Tremblant again and, if we do, we will be back.

Incredible Experience

  • 5 of 5

This home is absolutely beautiful. It looks even better in person. The 360 views of the landscape surround you. You feel like you and in the middle of the wilderness. We saw deer on the property. It is the perfect getaway for a group that wants to ski, snowshoe, or cozy up by the fire with baileys.... OR SIT IN THE MOUNTAIN TOP HOT TUB. The hot tub is west facing so you get a perfect view of the sun going down. I cannot say enough great things about my experience in this home. The property managers are always available to answer questions, they are increadibly friendly. Staying here is an unparalleled experience.

We had a fantastic week at the mountaintop chalet! This property is literally built on the top of a mountain and makes you feel like you have escaped to a Swiss Chalet in the Alps! Had all the amenities and great concierge service! Would definitely stay here again!

Snowy Mountaintop Retreat

  • 5 of 5

An amazing stay for 6 adults over the New Years weekend. The Chalet was large, well equipped and a marvel of architecture that sits atop the property. It is accessible via a 2 km plowed driveway that served well for hikes and snowshoeing to the entry of two separate lakes. The hot tub was prepped for our arrival and was a relaxing way to wind down after a day outside - provided it was not too windy.

Over the top

  • 5 of 5

"Breathtaking" does not describe the environment and the view. Absolutely a perfect home to spend thanksgiving weekend with my family.

The home was spottless, wellkept, very well equiped... many perks like the robes that kept us warm going into the spa, the fresh linens, loads of firewood that allowed the huge fireplace to burn all weekend, the large BBQ that allowed us to cook 6 steaks all at once.

The access to both private lakes was just the perfect walk away. We enjoyed the canoes, kayaks and paddleboats. Even the fishing was successful. We definitely will be going back to this one..... maybe for a winter weekend and definetely for a summer weekend.

Absolutely worth every dollar.... do not hesitate

Didn't want to leave!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two friends and I stayed at the property for 8 nights in early August. The pictures are accurate and representative of the property. We all loved the property. The view from the deck is outstanding. Some mornings a fog was in the valley and would burn off with the rising sun. The deck faces west so you get lovely sunsets. There are 2 private lakes on the property - one you can see in the pics and the one on the other side of the hill which is just a short walk from the house (you can also drive there). There is a swimming dock in the middle of the lake and there are also kayaks, peddle boats, paddle boards, life jackets available which made it a fun time.

We cooked at the house for a few nights. My husband loved the BBQ grill - it was large and cooked very quickly. We live in an apt in the city where BBQ aren't allowed so it was a treat for him. The owners just installed a washer / dryer so that was a nice surprise and we used it after rafting on the River Rouge where we were thoroughly soaked.

Mt Tremblant has 3 sections (ski village, center village and old village). It is just a few minutes drive to each of them with Center Village being the closest. Center Village has the most restaurants and 3 large grocery stores (C Town, Metro, IGA). Our best dining experience was in the old village Restaurant Le St Louis - delicious food and the chef was able to adapt a recipe for me as I was the only vegan in the group.

The kitchen was well stocked except for Tupperware. My friend who is quite the cook loved the pots and pans they had. There are spices and oil available. It has a fireplace and a hot tub - but it was too warm for us to partake. At night opening up the screened windows brought lovely cross breeze through the house.

The owners were very responsive both during the booking process and when we were on site. The switches to some of the kitchen lights are in unusual places - ask them to show you where they all are during the walk through :)

We flew in to Montreal - it's approximately 1.5 hrs drive to Mt Tremblant. Make sure you rent an SUV. It is a two mile dirt and gravel road going up the hill to the house.

The national park is nearby and has 3 main entrances, ranging from 40 minutes drive away to approx 2 hrs. There are some beautiful hikes at all levels.

We loved the place and did not want to leave and go back home to the city. We would gladly stay here again next time we come to the area
