Deluxe. Lakefront With View, Sleeps 12, 2 Full Bath W/ Jacuzzi Tub, Full Kitchen
A bit of history about Twin Lakes Bear Lodge: The structure was built in the 1970s as a residence. The owners lived out their lives in comfort and happiness, surrounded by loved ones, until one fateful day when the Mrs. of the house passed due to health complications. Her husband, stricken by grief, rapidly fell victim to dementia and was no longer able to live on his own, placing a huge financial burden on his family. Wanting only the best care for their father, the children are now renting out their parents very home and now wish to invite you to share the majesty and tranquility that this home has held for years.
Sandy purchased this Cabin in 1978
Why Sandy chose Rathdrum
For years different pieces of lake property were scouted out, looking for the perfect place to build a home. All the items that had been accumulated for years in the garage and basement, were added in this home during the many years it took to build. Many objects from our parents travels are seen throughout the house also, as you step from the 'Mexican room' into the 'Butterfly room' the 'Clown room' or in front of the river rock fireplace with it's unique mantel, which was brought from Montana, and where each rock was hand selected from a friend's backyard and placed in the fireplace along with coins from different countries. Surrounded by knotty cedar, throughout the house, gives a special feeling of a cabin and a home. Sitting in front of a warm fireplace, being out on the deck watching the lake or the stars or just hanging out in front of the campfire on your own private beach will bring enjoyment and memories that will carry with you forever.
What makes this Cabin unique

Needs furniture update. Bed update. It appears they arent putting any money back into unit. For a place, that can accommodate so many, kitchen was scarcely outfitted. Cobwebs freshmouse droppings. Overall run down .
Great family time in a great location!
We had a wonderful time and the house ended up being the perfect size for 14 of us. We all had beds and were able to keep the house cool in near 100 degree weather with all the window air conditioning units. Such easy access to the dock for water activities, maybe want to look at the dock bridge as it tends to wobble a little. We enjoyed a fire at the beach area just in front of the house by the water when all the family came over for dinner one night from other homes on the lake. The sliding glass door handles and doors themselves are in need of some TLC, but we understand working with a budget to fix things when you are renting an additional property. Sandy was very gracious when checking us into the home and was a wealth of knowledge about the house and area. We love Twin Lakes and have been coming to the area for over 50 years, and now are trying to find our second home on the lake.
Lovely stay!! Happy to have been there!
Our family stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time! We would do it again in a heartbeat! Great property, wonderful home and accomodations and a personal welcome from Sandy. It was good to be shown around the home and the outdoor areas prior to our stay! Being on the beach made it so very special for our grandsons. Twin Lakes is just beautiful. Thanks Sandy! Enjoyed meeting you! It is obvious how much this home means to you and your family.
Clean, spacious, welcoming, good fit for large family and friends get togethers
Our 4th stay and once again it was a wonderful family experience. Our family included 11 members ages 8 to 65 and the cabin accommodated all our needs. Sandy is great with her friendly and thorough customer service. We will return next year good Lord willing.
The space is big, open and clean. Beautiful right on the lake. Close to silverwood.
Its clean and well taken care of. We spent a full day playing games and playing on and in the lake. The 14 of us were always comfortable. Perfect spot for families.
Grounds were well-maintained very relaxing environment
We want to go back next year we had a blast and lots of room and had a really good time

For the large city scene, Coeur d'Alene, ID is located only 18 miles away. It is 16 miles to Silverwood Theme Park, the largest theme park of the Pacific Northwest, and approximately 30 miles to Spokane, WA and the Spokane International Airport.
OUTSTANDING environment for the Coeur d'Alene IRONMAN Competition with mountainous hills and roads (also paved roads that extend around the lake) to run and bike in preparation for the big race! And best of all, a warm lake to swim in as often as you like, with your own private beach. Then a short 20-30 minute drive into Coeur d'Alene for the big race day.
