About the property

4 Bedroom, 3 Bath 2300 Sq Ft . Sleeps 12. Great Views & Wild Life At Your Door.

Our yard is literally millions of acres of pristine wilderness. We are the last power pole in our tiny neighborhood. Our driveway is off a gravel road and the tundra comes up to our door which attracts lots of Moose, Fox, Caribou, Lynx, Snowshoe Hares & last year we saw our first Wolf in the yard.

We have great wildflowers in the yard in June & July and you can pick blueberries right out our front door in August & September. The views of Mt. Healy & the Northern Alaska Range are spectacular.

You stay at The Denali Park View House for the sense of truly being in the Alaska Wilderness, yet you are only 1-mile off The Parks Hwy, with all the creature comforts of a modern home.

With all Brand new pillow top mattresses and newly remodeled bedrooms and bathrooms you will feel right at home. We have Direct TV in the living room with a new HDTV and high speed wireless internet throughout the house. AT&T 4g network provides a strong signal.

Other amenities include: washer & dryer, dishwasher, an outdoor BBQ, fire pit, Ping Pong Table & an Elliptical exercise machine.

The living room, kitchen & dining room have an open floor plan with spectacular views. There is a full bath off the living room.

The bedrooms are all down the hall so people in the living area do not disturb people in their rooms.

Downstairs is the master bedroom with a pillow top Queen Bed, bunk beds and a large private bathroom with a Jacuzzi Bathtub and separate large shower (sleeps 1-4).

The other downstairs room has a pillow top King bed (sleeps 1-2) and spectacular views.

Upstairs there is a common bathroom with a shower tub/combo.

One upstairs room has a queen pillow top bed and a bunk bed with spectacular mountain views (room sleeps 1-4).

Also upstairs is a private room with a queen pillow top bed (sleeps 1-2).

It's a 10 minute walk to Otto lake which has a playground, fishing and swimming. You can rent a boat or bicycle from Denali Outdoor Center. They also offer White Water Rafting.

Black Diamond resort is also a 10 minute walk. They have a great restaurant along with a 9 hole golf course. They also offer ATV tours and wagon ride dining.

There are miles and miles of walking and biking trails right out our front door.

The truth of the matter is you rent our home to be with your family and friends and to have a truly Alaskan Experience with all the creature comforts you'd expect.

There is also a 2-story guest cabin on our property that sleeps 4 (VRBO 501627). Our other neighbors are close by but you can't see them because we are nestled in the woods.

The standard rate is based on the occupancy of 1-8 people. Each additional guest over 8 will be charged $20 per night.

We really hope you enjoy our home. It's the real Alaskan Experience.

Our calendars are always up to date. You can click the “Book Now” button on the VRBO website and book and pay for your reservation online.

We are located 1-mile off the George Parks Hwy (3), 10-miles North of Denali National Park’s only entrance Road.

It will take you 10-15 minutes to drive to the Park.

Our property is a 5 hour drive from Anchorage or a 2 hour drive from Fairbanks.

We have 4 VRBO’s in Denali (,,, and and pride ourselves on your group having a fantastic experience at our properties.

Check in 4pm. Check out 11am.

We will email you driving directions and key code for entry 30 days prior to your arrival.

Access to our property is via paved road except for the driveways which are maintained gravel. Use of gravel driveways does not violate your rental car agreement.

We collect 100% payment at time of booking. We will refund 75% if you cancel 90 days prior to your reservation. If you cancel with less than 90 days’ notice we refund 75% for the nights the unit is re-rented to another party.

A $100 Refundable Housekeeping Deposit is required. Wash your dishes (you may put them in the dishwasher and leave it running), take all your garbage out to the dumpster and clean up after yourselves and you will get your deposit returned within 1 week of your stay,

The $75 Cleaning Fee pays the housekeepers. When you see how clean our home is upon arrival you will know this fee is worth it.

We highly recommend you buy your groceries and supplies in Anchorage or Fairbanks. Denali has limited goods and is very expensive. We recommend Fred Meyer, Safeway or Walmart for Groceries.

We provide all linens, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, sponges, dishwasher soap, trash bags & paper towels.

The coffee maker does not need filters.

We also supply laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner & bath soap. There is also 1 hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Our kitchens are well equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve your meals.

We supply the propane for the outdoor BBQ.

You need to supply your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit. You can buy bundles of wood when you buy groceries.

You can drink our water. We do not have recycling. We supply an outdoor dumpster for garbage.

95% of people who come to Denali only ride the bus 1 day. We recommend booking your bus trip well in advance. There is only 1 road so a more expensive bus takes the same route as the least expensive bus. We recommend taking the bus to Eielson Visitor Center. It’s an 8-9 hour day and you see the best part of the park. Most people don’t get off the bus except at rest stops. You can get off and hike around and wait for the next bus. If you have a large group you all may not be able to get on the next bus and there may not be seats together.

You can access the 1st 15 miles of Denali National Park’s Road with your rental vehicle and there are marked hiking trails and a visitor center.

It’s important to remember the beauty and wilderness does not end at the park border. We can highly recommend 1 day hiking out of the house, having a picnic and enjoying your family and friends. All our properties are on the park boundary and you have traveled a long way. One day enjoying the surroundings does not cost anything and can be quite rewarding (You are as likely to view wildlife from our living room as you are inside the park). You are living in the middle of interior Alaska.

As far as all the other organized activities in our area we recommend you book those upon arrival depending on weather and your group’s desires. Rafting, flight seeing, horseback riding, biking, golf, fishing, ATV, Jeep Tours and much more are all available and all their brochures are displayed in our homes. They are all nearby and most will pick you up at our homes.

I’m happy to answer any questions or make suggestions. My number 1 priority is to make sure your group enjoys their stay in Denali and at our homes.

A Nice Place Near teh Denali NP

  • 5 of 5

This neat 4-br house fits us 4-couples very nicely. It’s close to the Denali NP.

Rooms are clean; kitchen has a picture-like view; and was very useful for us to prepare the food while staying here. Remember this is a very remote area and there is not many stores nearby. We brought in the grocery from Anchorage; so that we could concentrate in exploring the nature beauty around here.

The communication to owners were easy; and the Owner always responded nicely and quickly. Just remember to follow the instruction from the owner on how to get to the house the first time; and also spend some time at the Otto Lake nearby.

We will definitely recommend this house to anyone who want to see the Denali.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The house really feels like you're in the middle of nowhere yet you're close to everything. The house is less than 1-mile off the Parks Hwy and a 10-15 minute drive to the park entrance. The mountains right next to the house are the National Park Boundary. We are the closest VRBO to the park. Safe Travels

Wonderful Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed our stay at your Denali property! It was very comfortable with enough room to be together, yet apart when we wanted to be. This site is very close to Denali National Park so you can spend more time in the park than you do trying to get there each morning or getting home after spending the day on the park bus or area tours. Dave was great when we needed a little network support and responded very quickly to our need. Highly recommended location!

Amazing Denali view!

  • 4 of 5

We rented this house for a short stay in Denali. The location was very convenient and not far from the park entrance. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The washer and dryer came in handy and we appreciated that shampoo, soap, tp and paper towel were provided. The best thing about this house is the view of the park right outside the window.

Owner's Response: The house is located right on the Park Boundary. We are the closest VRBO to the Park. The amazing view out the window is the Northern end of The Alaska Range. It's worth spending time hiking right out of the house or walking over to nearby Otto Lake and renting a paddle boat. Otto lake is the big lake you pass on your way to the house.

Perfect house for 4 couples!

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of space to spread out. The house felt like we were living in the Park. We had a campfire every night. The views of the mountains are spectacular! A mama moose with 2 babies visited us both days. David's home was the highlight of our trip.

Owner's Response: Almost every group saw that mama moose and her 2 calves last summer. The house is the real Alaskan experience. The house is perfect for multiple couple traveling together with 4 private bedrooms and 3 full baths. I could sit around that fire pit all night and enjoy the views and the midnight sun. Safe Travels

Great for Families

  • 5 of 5

This house is just as pictured and offers families and large groups a lot of comfortable sleeping options. Our group of 6 adults found the house to be clean and very quiet during our 3 day visit. It is convenient to activities in and around the park. David was easy to work with during the reservation process and provided detailed information on how to find the house. I would recommend this house to other families looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay while exploring Denali.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. My family and I VRBO all over the world and we understand independent travelers expectations. The house is perfect for families or large groups as the bedrooms are down the hall from the living area so the early birds can go to sleep and won't be bothered by the others. We also provide plenty of lawn chairs to sit outside by the fire pit. Safe Travels

Spectacular views.. Lovely Home!

  • 5 of 5

We were 3 families..a party of 6 adults and 3 kids (3 to 5 years). David was very easily accessible even at midnight. Excellent communication! We enjoyed spectacular views of nature while from kitchen and living...good sized bedrooms with privacy, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Ample supplies of clean towels... the home is metaculously maintained clean.. We were skeptical while finding the home in the night in the wilderness on gravel path, but soon were pleasently surprised by this home. Great parking.. We enjoyed playing table tennis. Biggest plus point..The home is minutes away from Denali wailderness access center and supplies. The distance also helps specially if you are planning a trip at national park and tour time is in early morning (not to mention getting ready with kids!!) Laundry on site with detergents etc.. Five stars! Will love to visit again and again!!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay. The house is really close to the Parks Hwy and we provide everybody with detailed directions and a map. You drive off the pavement for 1 minute and your at my driveway. It is a well maintained gravel road and suitable for any car. Sometimes there is a bump or 2 depending on the rain, but drive slow and enjoy the view. We see so much wildlife we would never consider paving the drive. The house is right on the park boundary.
