This comfortable, cozy ski chalet offers a unique lodging experience in Breckenridge with private hot tub, perfect for star gazing. The chalet is a single-family home, situated in the forested, private, and highly desirable Peak 7 location. It is a short 5 minute drive to Breckenridge Gondola lifts, 5 minutes to the Breckenridge Free Skier Parking, or 5 minutes to Breckenridge Downtown Main Street (restaurants, shops, and night life). Or, take a cheap Uber ride! It is a quiet and serene location, with minimal traffic, so you know you’re truly in a home with “mountain experience”. If you enjoy mountain views, safely viewing wildlife, and the coziness and spaciousness with the convenience of skiing and town 5 minutes away, then this is your perfect ski chalet. The chalet is a 3 bed/2 bath approx. 1750 sq. ft.; sleeps 10 comfortably.

The Chalet is a great alternative to condominium properties, where families feel cramped and locked in to close quarters, condos don’t have a full size kitchen, and you’re staying amongst crowds and noise. This home is perfect for a family, group, or just a couple looking for more privacy and leg room, with the convenience of society not too far away. The chalet has the comforts of home in mind, with full size kitchen, dining room, separate living room, and separate hearth room with a fireplace. This is in addition to the 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, oversize outside deck, and walk-out patio. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a Queen-sized bed. Additionally, there is a sleeper pull out from the sofa in the living room. House has a Washer and Dryer for washing your clothes. The Fireplace in the hearth room is perfect for cozy family time, book reading, or just relaxing. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars at the property.

Why Jordan chose Breckenridge

I love Breckenridge and Summit County. Breckenridge has everything anyone can ask for-- Small town Ski feel with a 'Main Street', Great skiing and boarding for all levels, and remoteness to get away from the crowds too. Breck has advanced terrain too, including the Bowls with accessible hike-ins that are still in boundary for the resort. Breckenridge is a family friendly resort. In other words, there is something for everyone. In summer, Breckenridge has mountain biking trails on the mountain, where you can take the lift up, and choose varying levels of difficulty on the ride down (or you can choose to bike up as well). It is close to Dillon Reservoir for boating and sailing and very accessible to 14'er hikes, water rafting too. There are many festivals throughout the year at Breckenridge, no matter the season. What makes this house unique

Easy access to snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hiking. Super convenient to the Breck Gondola to hop onto Peak 7 quickly and avoid lines. Close to Downtown Breck for variety of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Still, this house is away from the noise and crowds. Great mountain views and privacy. Down the road from Dillon Reservoir through Frisco or Dillon for great sailing and boating. Our dog loves the open space this house presents, and hiking around outside the house. We visited Breckenridge for a week with 5 adults and three children to go skiing and snowboarding. There was enough space for everyone. The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and there is a grocery store close by. There are board games, TV's with DVD players so you can rent a movie at night, and a big enough yard for kids to play in. The two bathrooms seemed a little small but that may have been because we had 8 people. Overall this is a nice home settled in the mountains but close to the slopes. I would recommend it to a friend.

Cozy place in Breckenridge

Perfect place to stay in the mountains if you're looking to be just outside of town, but not too remote or far from restaurants, shopping, or the ski lifts (although we were not their for skiing).

House has basic cable TV, with a small TV in the master bedroom and a larger one in the upstairs common area that also has a Blu-ray player connected.

Sofas and furniture are comfortable and in pretty good shape. Nice soft carpet throughout. Kitchen amenities could use some shoring up or replacements. For example, the tea kettle was in rough enough shape that we decided not to use it. Couldn't find any aluminum foil, which is typically available in house/cabin rentals.

This house has probably the best hot tub we've ever used. It's fairly large, in very good condition, and seemed to be clean and well maintained. The different massage jets in each corner plus the multi-colored lighting are neat features.

The daily rate is pretty reasonable for what you get. We found Jordan to be pretty responsive in communications and would stay there again.

Great getaway for a girls' trip

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The house was clean, the hot tub was fantastic (as was the extensive view of all the stars) and we were comfortable. It's far enough from Breck to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough to get downtown and enjoy restaurants, activities and nightlife. Kitchen had everything we needed, as did bathrooms. And I can attest they clean the hot tub between visits; the service tech pulled up right as we were pulling out.

As another poster points out, the home isn't completely secluded. It does overlook a neighbor's property (and vice versa) who appears to do car repair and runs heavy equipment that can be a bit noisy, and it backs up to the road. That said, it was still quiet in the evenings and early mornings (before 8 a.m.). I might suggest adding blinds onto the back deck door for extra privacy.

Two issues the owner should address: the wood flooring near the back door to the deck and the room humidifiers. There are several large gaps and missing pieces in the wood that we had to throw a rug over to avoid stepping on and getting injured. That's a safety hazard for bare feet (since shoes aren't allowed to be worn in the home). Also, the personal humidifiers in the side-by-side rooms didn't work. They were one-touch units but no mist ever came out. I'd recommend investing in some higher-quality units due to the dryness in the home. We didn't contact the owner about these issues because they weren't do or die, but they should be addressed.

All in all, we had a relaxing, lovely time at Jordan's home and would recommend it. Also, the price was comparable (and even less) than some condos in town that didn't have the added perk of a private hot tub and true mountain environs. Thanks!

Ski Chalet in Breckenridge

We LOVED this house. The price was comparable to much smaller condos in the area and we had the entire house to ourselves. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. I slept with my window open and I can attest to how quiet the neighborhood is. We were just minutes from downtown Breckenridge and all the comforts of being in the city but without actually having to be in town. Jordan is a wonderful owner. He was very responsive to all my questions and requests. He even gave me an update on the weather conditions so I could be prepared for the snow in May. The house and the hot tub were very clean. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone considering this lovely home.

Relaxing, roomy and romantic
