Cedar shingle cottage in charming village of Round Pond, Maine. Newer construction with beautiful furnishings. Pine floors throughout. Three bedrooms with king, queen, and full size beds. Bedrooms include memory foam mattresses with new linens. Sleeper sofa downstairs. Large screened porch and yard. Home is in excellent condition and centrally located near all of peninsula attractions.

Launch your kayak at nearby Moxie Cove picnic area or Round Pond Harbor.

House is located on very quiet and scenic street within walking distance of village. Close to public swimming hole at Moxie Cove. Round Pond village amenities include the following: Muscongus Bay Lobster, Round Pond Lobster, the Art of Antiquing, and the Granite Hall Store. Also, close to the general store and a coffee shop.

Round Pond is part of Bristol, Maine, centrally located on the Pemaquid peninsula. Excellent access to New Harbor, Pemaquid Lighthouse, Pemaquid Beach, numerous swimming holes, and hiking trails. Minutes to Damariscotta. Very close to La Verna Trail preserve - hiking trail leading to beautiful views of Muscongus Bay.

Comfortable Home

Stayed here once before. This property is very nice. Secluded and a screened in porch to boot. Our family had a great time and we would definitely go back again.

This home was very nice and relaxing the porches were great to just sit out on and enjoy the wildlife. The mattresses were perfect for sleeping. This is a great home to stay in.

Quiet and secluded

Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, 14 cup coffeemaker, and screened-in porch; these are what I looked forward to, having stayed here twice before. It’s close to Pemaquid Point & Beach, Damariscotta, and Muscongus Bay Lobster. Because it was overcast and rainy most of our time here, the upstairs didn’t get too hot for us; the mornings and evenings were actually fairly cool. Alissa was very responsive to any questions we had, and we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

Fully equipped house was a great location to explore Maine. Property is quiet & secluded. Screened in porch is a nice touch. Owner was very responsive.

Cozy home with wonderful grounds in a great location

Very comfortable and lovely home - a great pleasure to stay in. It was close to the ocean - great area just for walking around and exploring. We had everything we needed for a fun, romantic stay. We very much hope to return next summer!

What makes this property unique

Incredible access to one of most beautiful areas in Maine. The villages on this peninsula include: Round Pond, New Harbor, Pemaquid, Bristol Mills, and South Bristol. Numerous outdoor activities available, including: hiking, kayaking, walking, swimming at beach, swimming in ponds or swimming holes, boating, and fishing. Pemaquid Lighthouse park offers world class views and a chance to tour one of the country's most famous lighthouses. Restaurants offer fresh Maine seafood, as well as many other choices.
