About Janette Young
We bought this cottage in 2005 and it is quite unique. The oldest part of Yellow Cottage dates to around 1910, with later additions. We have stripped floorboards, added air-conditioning and heating, and made a truly comfortable place to get away from the rat race and reconnect with what matters. However It is close to supermarkets, boutiques, eateries, beaches, national parks, walks and much more. A real bush and beach sub-tropical hideaway.

Why Janette Young chose Agnes Water
There really isn't a time of year that Yellow Cottage and the area of Agnes Water / Town of 1770 fails to captivate. It is a magical place, with kangaroos and kookaburras treating the place like home, and plenty of things to do - or do nothing at all. We bought this Cottage as a place to relax, and we invite you to enjoy it too.
What makes this Cottage unique
The great location but delightful privacy is a unique combination that you won't find in any resort. Each room is decorated uniquely, with comfort top of mind. The house is cool in summer and warm in winter, and there is a verandah to relax on and just watch the trees and wildlife.

Great time away
The Yellow Cottage was a fantastic choice for our holiday away. Everything was available and easy to find with plenty to keep everyone entertained (including a fussy 3yr old). Could have quite easily spent the whole weekend on the property and not gone anywhere else. Very peaceful and relaxing, besides the kangaroos didn't see or hear another soul. Shops within 5-10 minutes drive if we did need anything extra.
Thankyou very much for having us :D
We're delighted you had a lovely relaxing time at Yellow Cottage. Come back again any time.
