Beautiful setting. Comfortable home with nice beds. Small beach area and pier are great for swimming. Location is pretty quiet except for camp a little way down the shore. Nice spot for an Up North vacation.

Excellent Lake House
The large open kitchen/dining room/deck gave us plenty of room to hang out as a family. The 5 bedrooms plus bunk beds in the downstairs family room slept 11 very comfortably. The dock was gorgeous and we rented a boat super affordably. Everything about the house and property we wonderful and the host Steven was very accommodating. Thank you!!!

Beautiful view. Lovely, clean, comfortable home.
We just returned from our second stay at this lovely home. There is plenty of room for the whole family. The view of the lake from the sunny deck is beautiful. There is a large yard for games and play. A great north woods retreat, but close enough to shopping, restaurants, and activities. We can't wait to go back.

7 guys 1 cabin
The owner was straightforward and easy to deal with. The cabin exceeded our expectations which is to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Seven guys stayed one weekend for a hockey tournament and found the place met all of our needs. The kitchen is spacious for cooking large meals and the dining area/living room accomodated us well. The 3 bathrooms were nice as you can imagine 7 guys in one place takes some coordination. We did have to wait for the hot water heater to warm up between a few showers but it was not a big deal. We were there over the winter but I can only imagine how beautiful this place is in the summer with direct access to the lake. The only thing missing in our opinion was a hot tub, billiards, foosball/ping pong, etc. We really had no complaints. Beautiful house in a beautiful area. Would rent here again.

About the host
Hosted by Steve Callahan
My wife, I and our four boys have always loved to get away to the north woods. This property has been part of our family since we found this extraordinary lot in 2000. The construction was completed in the spring of 2001.
Why they chose this property
My wife and I purchased a house on Sand lake in the early 90's. We have always loved Dam Lake. When the property became available we sold the Sand Lake home to her parents and purchased this lot.
What makes this property unique
There is nothing more relaxing than taking an afternoon nap on the hammock down by the lake.
