About this property

Find your perfect private oasis in Rancho Mirage in the quiet gated community of San Marino. Your beautifully landscaped 2500 square foot 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home awaits you for a whole month!

As you enter the spacious front hall and pass the living room with its new, upholstered furniture and gas fireplace -- and the dining room with its large table and new upholstered chairs -- you pass the interenal landscaped atrium with its gentle fountain where you will take your morning coffee on the days that you forgoe breakfast by your pool.

Your kitchen is fully equippped with recently added custom cabinetry, all major appliances (including espresso machine of course!) and granite countertops. Off the kitchen is your family room where you can enjoy some TV (Apple TV is included)and Bose MP3 sound dock.

Beyond the family room is the gorgeous and completly private yard and pool/spa area with large outdoor table and Weber gas BBQ.

Your large airy master bedroom opens onto both the back yard/pool area and the interior atrium. Attached to it is your master bathroom with travertine floors and walk in shower along with twin sinks, a jetted tub with a view of the garden and a walk in closet.

Your guests have a choice of two guest bedrooms with queen beds and a Jack and Jill bathroom with its own shower/tub combination.

The atrium is fully planted, open to the sky above and features a gentle fountain that comes on automatically in the morning and shuts down as you are heading to bed. A breakfast table for two encourages coffee, croissants and relaxed conversation.

Your home away from home includes a washer and dryer for your convenience and there is room in the garage for your rental car. It is air conditioned of course but the bedrooms, living room and kitchen/family room have ceiling fans so that it is often possible to leave the air conditioning off.

Exceptional property.

This place ticked all of our boxes ! We loved the large rear yard which has complete privacy, sun all day and great views of the mountains. It is very quiet with no traffic noise. The beautifully landscaped garden has vibrant colours and is frequented by humming birds, doves and mocking birds. At night the garden becomes magical with subtle lighting. The large low chlorine pool was great for exercise and for cooling off on hot days. We loved having the Sonos music system. The property is five minutes from a supermarket and from good local restaurants. This is outdoor living at its best . You can even pick a pink grapefruit for breakfast - what more could you ask for...

San Marino is a beautiful community and is very well located. Great amenities.

31San Marino is stylishly decorated & very well appointed. The atrium and desert landscaping around the pool and hot tub area are stunning & very well maintained and have a view of the mountains. It really is a very special home and the owner is “The Best” landlord ever!

A Desert Gem

The photos don't do the property justice. It really is very special! It is nestled in a small gated community which is quiet and private. The desert landscaping is beautiful and very well maintained and the house itself is tastefully decorated and extremely well appointed. We hated to see our stay end! It was fabulous!

Who could ask for anything more?

Late last Fall my partner and I enjoy six fabulous weeks in this lovely home. We had rented holiday homes before, but they paled compared to Denise's place. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. I'm talking about fine linens, comfortable custom furniture, a soothing calming decor, a kitchen with every imaginable accessory, tool,convenience, and small appliances a cook would want. Lovely dishes and serving ware made it so easy to serve meals. And oh, the garden.......a private paradise with a breathtaking view. Combine a large pool with a waterfall and a spa : a vacation dream. We ate most meals at the big outside table, under the covered shade area and picked oranges from the trees on the property. The location of this home is ideal for getting around the whole Greater Palm Springs area. Grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants are plentiful in the area. Handy for golf, as well as tennis courts right close to the house. This smalll gated development is ideal for walking, too. I could go on and on and still not do justice to this place. Add to that, the owner was more than responsive to any questions we had, giving us a carefree experience. We just wanted to stay there for months instead of weeks.

I bought this property because of the quiet, gracious neighbourhood, the well finished home and most of all the fabulous, landscaped back yard and pool.

What makes this property unique

The back garden is large and the landscaping is lovely. There are lemon and lime trees, colourful flowering shrubs, strange and wonderful cactus, the incredible pool and spa and the view of the mountains. The yard is quiet and completely private. It faces southwest so there is a perfect view as the sun sets over the mountains and the many stars come out. The pool is lit of course as are the landscape features. Its amazing for someone who has grown up in a cold climate!
