About this property

2 story log home, on 9 wooded acres, with 1700 sq. ft. living space, one fireplace in great room. Plus a 600 sq. ft. screen room with an additional fireplace, for those chilly nights. A large deck in the back with extraordinary lake views and sunsets! 3 bedroom, 2 bath, a loft with a pool table, a washer and dryer located in the first floor bathroom. Take a look at our photos, our home is clean and well maintained. It is a single family residence, not part of a resort. It is surrounded by woods and nature. Come relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Bull Shoals lake is a deep crystal clear lake surrounded by the Ozark mountains, and has great year round fishing! White River Fly Fishing about 1 hour away.

Annual fishing trip with friends

Fourth year for our stay in this really nice cabin overlooking Bull Shoals Lake. We always find the cabin very clean and completely ready for our stay. We like it so well we have reserved it for next year.

Great Fishing Cabin

The cabin is older, but had everything we needed for a great fishing trip. Very comfortable. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed our trip immensly. Thank YOU!

We're Doug and Tracy, and we are the owners of Lakeside Hideaway. My wife and I have been coming to Bull Shoals lake for over 20 years with our family and friends. We have three grown children, a son-in-law and three grandchildren we all live in the suburbs of Chicago. We began coming to Bull Shoals Lake to escape from the daily life in a crowded city. Boating, fishing, hiking, fishing, swimming, and fishing are among the things we have enjoyed with siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. Our very favorite thing is just sitting back and looking out over the water.

Why they chose this property

We have talked for years about taking the plunge and purchasing property on the lake. After seeing this log home and the lake views, we knew this one was too good to pass up. This is absolutely our dream. The views are breathtaking whether you're enjoying coffee on the deck or watching the sunset. Have I mentioned that the fishing is pretty great? We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
