About Bridget Cardinali
I am a mother of 3, and a Homeopath by profession. I grew up in Africa and England, and settled here 15 years ago. I live in the main house on the same 2 acre property, with my dogs, and kids. Whoever stays in the guest house needs to be dog and children friendly, as we have a free range policy with them, and needs to be ok with a farming environment - (horses, chickens are not free range). I am super busy, so all you may see of me during your stay is my car tail lights as I drive the children to their various baseball , ballet and school activities. I am chief taxi driver, cook and cleaner right now. But I am available by phone. I don't want to impose, so just let me know if you need anything- info or just want to connect. I am around.

Why Bridget Cardinali chose West Sedona
I love this property because it is kind of hidden away , and yet 5 minutes from town and a 5 minute walk to the creek. YOu have the feel of rural with trees all around the house and yard, shading the property in the summer, and the horses over the fence, and the red rocks all around. The hiking and biking trails are right out the door, so convenient to access. Its bike in bike out country.
What makes this Cottage unique
The hidden away quality of this property makes it really special. That we are so close to everything and yet so rural, makes it such a relaxing place to be. Having Oak Creek so close by is a joy, with all its incredible beauty and hiking/biking trails to Cathedral Rock amongst others. We always go swimming there in the summer months. Lying in the hammock on the lawn, and listening to the birds, with the red rocks all around and the pine trees, is pure heaven.! Please note: the above rental is an accommodation within our private home and is not a'vacation home' rental.

Nice cozy place. Everything about the stay was nice and Bridget was a great owner.
We had a great time as usual. This was our third time staying here and we love the setting (outside of town). Bridget is a great host, always willing to help with directions to trails, etc.
Perfect for the two of us. Close to trails in West Sedona. Don’t miss the Pyramid trail and Sedona Crossing. They’re walking distance. Owner is wonderful. Very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect place to unwind
The cottage is in a great spot in Sedona with plenty of access to hiking, cycling, walking and it is perfect for just relaxing. It is close enough to town to drive in for shopping, groceries, dining and yoga. The fact that it is West Sedona means you are closer to some of the best hiking (Long’s Canyon, Boyton area) in minutes but out of the touristy mess of Sedona proper. I’ve been coming for years and will continue to do so no matter the season.
Calm and quiet
Excellent place to relax and enjoy nature, very comfortable.
Spacious, comfortable, quiet
I stayed here for 5 weeks and it was wonderful. The small house is beautifully and cozily decorated; there are two very large rooms with ultra high ceilings, vintage furniture, live plants and lots of natural light. There were countless hiking trails within a 5 minute car ride. Being a photographer, I loved how I could walk to the iconic view of Cathedral rock, morning and evening.I enjoyed interacting with the family and the dogs and cats, as did my kitty, who also loved watching the chickens. I am a woman traveling alone and felt completely safe, never locking my doors whether I was at home or away. And the eggs from free ranging chickens were a delicious bonus.
Sedona has the most amazing hiking and biking trails, and is a place of incredible beauty. It is only 2 1/2 hours away from the incredible Grand Canyon, and Monument valley and other sites of beauty are reachable by car. The wineries of Page Springs, along the beautiful Oak creek canyon are a must see. While you are here you can also go ballooning , or take a helicopter ride to see the amazing vistas here. or walk the 5 minutes to beautiful oak creek canyon and go for a dip. In the winter Flagstaff's ski mountain is only 45 minutes away and has very reasonable day rates or 3 day rates , if skiing is your thing.
In town (uptown) there are many shops and resorts and healing workshops and modalities to take advantage of.. there is a list of recommended massage therapists and other healing practitioners in the cottage if you are looking for that. there are some wonderful spas to take advantage of , also some recommended in the locals list.
