Overview

About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, 4 Sleeps

This historic house, built in 1910, is located at the bottom of what is one of Bisbee's longest staircases. Perched just above downtown, it is a two minute walk to the heart of main street and no further to the hiking trails with majestic views of this canyon village. Filled with charm and modern amenities, this two bedroom has a fully fenced yard, and a fantastic, three-sided wrap around porch with views of the Mule Mountains, downtown and into Mexico.

This classic Bisbee mining cottage has been remodeled with double paned windows, great insulation, laundry room and modern heating, yet it holds its original charm. This house has everything you need to make a short or long term stay extremely comfortable.

Needs another air conditioning unit..

  • 4 of 5

The Porch House is a lovely and pristine property. Sitting on the Porch and watching life in Bisbee meander by was enjoyable, as was watching the hummingbirds and other fowl. The home is indeed comfortable, with relaxing beds, great shower and a kitchen to prepare snacks, breakfast and dinner. The only drawback was a lack of air conditioning. With only 1 unit in the bedroom and a stand alone fan is nowhere enough to cool this little gem of a home. Other than that the home is almost perfect.

Perfect cozy cottage

  • 5 of 5

LOVED it! Light and bright - tastefully decorated with just the right touches throughout. Super comfy beds. Wonderful porch for hanging out and drinking wine. Great location just steps from all the action. Speaking of steps - do be aware that there are some involved, but well worth the workout. Really appreciated having all the necessities there plus a loaf of fresh baked bread, eggs and juice provided. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Perfect house!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Bisbee for two weeks and the Porch House was amazing! Beth is the perfect hostess. Everything looked exactly like the pictures online. Having a washer and dryer was so nice, plus we could hang clothes on the clothes line on the porch. We loved sitting on the porch morning and evening and had fun talking to the people climbing the stairs. The location was perfect, not to far from the center of the town and far enough away for peace and quiet. You must eat breakfast at the Bisbee Breakfast Club, great food and fun to walk down the street and see the old cars. It was such a wonderful stay! Thank you Beth!

We loved this Porch House situated on the side of a mountain. Great views, charming decor, immaculate, fully equipped & walking distance to restaurants & attractions. Beth, our host, was a delight & had stocked the fridge! We shall return!

Bisbee delight!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to Bisbee. My husband and I spent the week of New Year's at the Porch House and had a lovely stay. If you've never been to Bisbee, it's hard to describe! You have to experience it to believe it! Eclectic, fun, quirky, artistic, foodies, mining history, lots to take in. First though, it's getting oriented to accessing things. The streets are VERY narrow, signs aren't always where you think they'll be, parking is challenging, but it's all worth it and once you get the lay of the land, you're fine! You have to be good with steps, though The Porch House only has 12 steps from the street where others have 2 & 3 times that!

Beth & Noah are great hosts. We had a maintenance challenge and even though it was New Year's Day, Noah arrived in minutes to fix a water leak. Furnished comfortably and decorated in bright white with red accents, this renovated miner's cottage was a delightful place to stay!

We were lucky to be here in winter and saw all kinds of birds at the feeders in the small front courtyard - our hosts provided birdseed and we were entertained by all the birds! Even a lone hummingbird still coming to the nectar feeder in January! Also, we got to see the Sandhill cranes that winter at the Whitewater Draw Wildlife refuge. Well worth the drive!

Don't miss Bisbee Breakfast Club for breakfast and/or lunch! WOW, it's the best, in a renovated Rexall Drug Store in historic Lowell!

Sweet, Comfy and Warm

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Beth and Noah for the sweet porch house stay. This is a stunning setting in the Bisbee Mountain Range. We had so much fun, laughs and giggles finding our way around. The porch house was quiet and relaxing. We felt very much at home. Appreciated the treats in the fridge when we arrived and all the amenities. Very Cozy and warm. We will definitely return.
