About Lori Draper
I am a retired banker and my husband is a retired teacher and coach. We originally came from Michigan and have lived in the Seward area since 1977. This property is still our home, but since our children moved out, it's big enough to share with you.
Lori Draper purchased this Apartment in 1997
Why Lori Draper chose Jesse Lee Heights
We designed and built this home to move in from the mile 7 area of Seward to be closer to the school and to town, as well as to take advantage of a little less snow and and the extended garden season.
What makes this Apartment unique
When we were laying out our house plan for this lot, we ended up with so many windows because there simply isn't a way to look that doesn't have a fantastic view. It's so convenient to be close to stores and down town. The North Wing has the best views of the ocean and Mt. Alice, but also has a view of Mt. Marathon and Iron Mountain from the West side. We also have easy access to hiking on the cross country running trails at Seward High School, as well as a short hike to a waterfall.

Lovely , Quiet Upstairs Apartment
This is a very comfortable two bedroom apartment which easily accommodates 4 adults. The beds are very comfortable, the living space has an interesting curved sectional sofa and a giant flat screen tv. The small kitchenette allows for coffee and tea in the morning and/or cocktail hour after a day exploring town, which is just a few minutes away. Easy walk to the grocery/liquor store.
Best place to stay in Seward!
This is my 2nd year in a row staying here. I love it!! It is truly a home away from home. The inside is beautiful and clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Every window has a lovely view and the property is in a great location to town. The owners are wonderful & kind. They make you feel so welcome. I'm already looking at planning my trip to stay here next year.
Beautiful appointed apt.ideal for a family or two couples, convenient location..definitely recommended
Fabulous quiet hideaway close to town
Loved our stay in Seward in this spacious, clean and bright two bedroom suite. Very picturesque and quiet, internet was great. Beds were very comfortable. Our host Lori was very responsive and helpful and it was a fabulous bonus to have fresh sourdough bread, quiche and coffee waiting for us upon arrival! Note that if you do not have a car there are very few taxis available; Be willing to do a very pleasant 15 min walk to town or the free shuttle stop at the rail yard. Short walk to the grocery store.
Wonderful place to stay. Hosts were kind and friendly.
Extra touches of quiche, bread and jam were yummy! Highly recommend this place!!
Perfect stay for our family of 4!
My husband and 2 kids stayed here for 2 nights as we explored Kenai Fjords, and this was truly perfect for our needs.
The apartment is spacious, clean, quiet, easily located, very well appointed and well organized. We had what we needed for breakfast, warming up foods, relaxing, connecting (we were without internet for 4 days prior)...
We loved being close to Safeway, town for great restaurants, and the laundromat!
Lori welcomed us with a delicious loaf of homebaked bread, quiche, butter, jam, coffee/creamer, a lovely selection of teas... these thoughtful touches are so appreciated.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat and we can't thank Lori enough!!!!
The Alaska Sealife Center, world class aquarium and research facility is 2 miles from our home.
Single nights may be available upon request.
