About this property

The Hideaway is a 2-story cabin with 2 bed rooms upstairs with queen beds. Full bath with shower and complete furnished kitchen and living room. Has a Upper deck with chairs. The down stairs has 2 bedrooms one with queen bed and also gas fireplace in it. the other bed room has 2 double beds in it. A standing shower and commode with sink basin is in the laundry room also. The cabin has central air and heat plus gas fire places. There is also a back porch with hot tub and picnic area and fire pit. Gas grill and also charcoal grill but please bring your own charcoal.

I enjoyed the amenities very much at this property such as the kitchen utensils & spices, jacuzzi, laundry. We explored the Smoke Hole Cavern area and relaxed at the property. Great getaway spot!

My husband and I had a weekend away the place was amazing! Very clean and well stocked on everything we needed. The location and privacy were so nice. Definitely will be back!

Family Christmas

We love the location and accaciblity of the cabin. We did not have to bring much to cook our meals with due to a fully stocked kitchen. The Christmas tree is beautiful and I’m happy it’s been up the last 2 years we stayed. We are planning on making this a yearly trip to do Christmas with the kids. Thank you for letting us stay in your Hide Away Cabin.

This was our first stay at this cabin and enjoyed the house. It was clean and spacious enough to accommodate our group.

I and my Husband own this cabin and have been renting it out for several years . Vacationers say they really enjoy coming and staying at the Hideaway.I Have to decided to start advertising with VRBO since I have our other cabin The Potomac Overlook listed with this site also

Why they chose this property

The Hideaway is close to the South Branch of the Potomac River where great fishing is offered several times a year plus the great fly fishing sport that many people enjoy doing. Plus there is lots of scenic things to enjoy here in our own Pendleton and Grant counties of WV.

What makes this property unique

Set on the porch an enjoy the stars come up or watch the wild life like deer, squirrels, turkeys or bald eagle come by. Or just enjoy that book you have been wanting to read until the stars come out at night. It is a real relaxing place to come. Wild Wonderful WV. at Smoke Hole.
