After moving to the Algarve from Portugal in 1999, we decided to design a villa which would tick everyone’s box for a perfect holiday. After 5 years of careful planning we had the plan and the design approved and started the process of building the perfect Holiday Rental Villa. Each bedroom has their own bathroom, safe and plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen, is huge with 2 sets of plates and cutlery, ideal for extended families to enjoy the interaction of preparing a family BBQ/meal.. We moved the outside seating area near to the kitchen for ease. It also has a bar with fully pumped draft beer, if required. The living room, is open plan next to the kitchen that has everything for entertainment. WIFI, Flat screen TV, and surround sound, SKY Channels and ITV, BBC and movies, it has the full package. We also have very large hand built wooden table that can seat 12 comfortably. The patio door open out to the gated terrace overlooking the pool, with sofas, to sit an enjoy the sunset drinks or just watch the children play in the pool. Gates stops little children from entering the garden and pool. In the garden, we have a full size table tennis table, large 8 x 4 meter heated pool (optional), a 6 seater hot tub (optional), which is always fun for everyone. A large patio with 12 deck beds and shaded area. We have installed an outside eating area near to the pool and kitchen. There is a large grassed area for playing ball games and a beautifully manicured landscaped mature garden. In the garden we have also just installed a large climbing frame and slide for the company Little Tykes. Our philosophy is for you the guest to enjoy your holiday, and we just want you have a wonderful memorable time, without hassle, without stress, and most of all those precious times with friends, grandchildren, children and grandparents are priceless.

Why David chose Carvoeiro

We chose this villa, Casa Valhalla, due to its location and views. We looked along the Algarve and found Carvoeiro offed the most for family values. Having many bars and restaurants so close to the villa, but the secluded tranquil location made this idea. The villa was used by a local builder called George De Lagos, as a show villa to promote his building services, where he ended up building over 100 villa in and around Carvoeiro.

What makes this Villa unique

Location and relaxation is what we want you to enjoy. Having thought of most items that everyone would want, we have added 2 bikes, for the adventurous one to explore the coast. Or just use the bikes for a gentle cycle to the village. There are plenty of taxis in the square in Carvoeiro, so if you wanted a stroll into the village, enjoy the fun in the square with live music and entertainment, and get a taxi home, great end to the evening.
